Rated 3 out of 5 by PugCrazy Please read the back label
My pug has food allergies. Wellness whitefish and salmon was the only can food that would not create the allergic symptoms. Please read the label because she recently started having symptoms again before I noticed that "chicken"was introduced to the product. The front label is completely different from the advertised ingredients listed on the back. I found a pet store down the street that sales the " poultry free" version. It is out there, just have to shop around a lot.

My dog is allergic to chicken, so I am happy to feed him Wellness products which don't contain any chicken by-products.

My Bully loves his wet food! I ordered all of the different flavors to see which would be his favorite, and this was the only failure. I mixed in a small amount with his normal dry food and he wasn't falling for it. He turned away from his bowl, ate it while giving me super stinky eyes, and had diarrhea for two days afterward. Sticking to land animals, he does great with the other canned foods from Wellness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by picnic1 Can't feed to standard poodle
Because she has inflammatory bowel disorder. I have fed this before and was going to add it to my two other fish canned food but read the ingredients again and see chicken and chicken livers so its off my list. Otherwise the food is fine for other dogs but sadly can't feed to Molly--my Cavalier had eaten her small amount and liked it but I try and keep the food the same-Fromm's Tunalini and 2 other totally fish food.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DogLoverNYC Formula changed?
After receiving the most recent box (12 cans) I noticed that my dog doesn't like it as he used to be. After a few cans my dog finally refused to eat it at all. HOWEVER, at the same moment I found 2 other cans which we bought at an earlier time that were labeled as "SALMON, WHITEFISH & HERRING FORMULA" rather than "WHITEFISH, SALMON...", I thought I'd have my dog try them to see if there's any difference -- turned out my dog still loves the old ones but hates the new ones. So I guess Wellness might have done some changes to their products.

The product is perfect for our dog. He needs grain-free due to allergies and he loves this product. It is no longer carried by Pet Smart or Petco in this flavor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RubysMom10 GREAT FOOD FOR MY SMALL POM!
My vet advised me to find a food that would keep my Pomeranian from developing yeasty sores on her body. It took a lot of research, but I finally found a wet food for her here. She's been eating it for several months and is doing so well on it-her double coat has almost completely regrown. The canned food is specially helpful as she has few teeth left. I have it ordered to arrive every month-so convenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MissyLynne My dog loves it!
My dog has a severe skin allergies and yeast. She has been on a special raw meat diet for several years now, which basically saved her life. I've gradually added in balanced canned dog foods that is grain free and using the cool meats such as turkey, duck and salmon. My dog Chloe loves the salmon and it certainly makes her coat soft and skin yeast free. Thanks Chewy for the convenience of online shopping and free delivery.
