Rated 5 out of 5 by Mary this product is good for a dog with allergies
My dog lucky is allergic to chicken products. So many products say grain free but still have some byproduct of chicken listed in the ingredients. First time ever my dog is not scratching after eating this dog food that he loves. Since he liked this bag of dog food, I just ordered some cans and treats also by Wellness.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Alice I like the fact that this product has only four ingredients which are all healthy
I like the fact that this product has only four ingredients which are all healthy. Unfortunately it is not helping my dogs dry skin which causes him to itch like crazy. I will continue to use this product until I can find another one to try for dogs itchy skin. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Our "baby" has reacted adversely to all sorts of other kibble. This one is working well.

by Lori13 This product is great helping skin allergies
My dog suffered from skin allergies, so I decided to try a dog food that is grain free. My dog's skin has shown a great improvement since eating this food. Her allergies are completely gone. I am very pleased with this product and I recommend it to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dave My Standard Poodle loves this food.
I switched because I thought my Standard Poodle was developing a food allergy, which wasn't the case. He was a picky eater and would nibble his old food. He loves this food and no longer nibbles he devours it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sarah726 Dog won't eat it
I have a 6 year old pittie mix with food allergies and she won't eat this food by itself. I have to mix it with her old food, defeating the purpose of having her on a limited ingredient diet. I don't know if it's just the flavor or something else. This food smells very strongly of salmon, but she's actually more likely to eat it when I put some salmon oil on top for her. Regardless, we are switching foods again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paisley21 Better than Hill's Prescription D/D Food
My dog, a Greyhound princess, is plagued with allergies. Her vet put her on Hill's D/D food for allergies and specified the Salmon and Potato formula. The limited ingredient diet helped the allergies but my dog lost energy and her coat became dull. I've always liked Wellness so I compared the ingredients of Hill's to Wellness Simple Salmon and potato. In Hill's, three of the first 4 ingredients were potato. Salmon was listed as the third ingredient. In Wellness Simple, salmon is the first ingredient. Further comparison revealed that Wellness surpassed Hill's in vitamin and mineral content and did not contain any fillers or artificial preservatives. I transitioned my dog to Wellness Simple over a ten day period. She truly detested the Hill's D/D food but can't wait to dive into the Wellness. Since transitioning, her fur and nails are healthier and she's bursting with energy. I highly recommend the Wellness Simple formula and any other products by Wellness.
