Wysong Epigen 90 Starch-Free Formula Grain-Free Dry Dog & Cat Food is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from has product changed again? My 3 cats loved this food for years. After opening a new bag best by date 05/10/17 one cat (with a poor immune system)got very sick. The other two did not finish food and seemed a little off. Tried a different bag 08/16/17. the 2 cats picked at it, but did not finish it. I don't know if there is something wrong with the bag or batch or if they changed the formula AGAIN. I will be changing foods.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great choice. This food is a great choice if you want to feed dry and don't want the grains or carbohydrates. I alternate this with another top brand here on Chewy and my cats are very happy with this as their dry alternative. I also feed my cats raw but want to keep a food that others can easily feed if I am not around to care for them. Great ingredients and highly palatable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I would feed my cat EVO This is a very high protein diet and they do not follow AFCO (they say so on their website). I briefly fed it to my diabetic cat who was not eating his normal food (EVO). I would be cautious and consult my vet before feeding this to my pet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product... Do you have a dog that is licking his paws endlessly? Does his scratching keep you up at night? Are his paws red or raw on the pads and between the toes? My Yorkie, Bella, suffered from all of the above. We finally decided to go back to nature with her diet. I couldn't see myself doing a carnivore or raw diet, however, so instead chose Wysong's Epigen 90. We weaned her off her grain diet and most table foods. Took us about a month to get her totally on to Epigen 90. Now we notice her paws are no longer red and inflammed, her endless licking is almost gone and the scratching has gotten so much better we can actually sleep through the night. We are grateful and so is she. I will also vary Epigen 90 with the other Epigen (Lamb, Fish, Chicken, Buffalo) products so she doesn't get bored with the same foods. I also feed her a crushed 1B Acidophollis tablet in a teaspoon of sugar free Greek Yogurt. I mix it in her food daily. She is a changed dog.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't work for us My bulldog has chronic yeast infections, so I tried this because it's supposed to be helpful with yeast. Unfortunately, after 1 week when he was fully transitioned he started having diarrhea. After several days we gave him 1 day off and just fed a piece of chicken. When he went back to eating he decided he didn't like the food and would spit it out. The diarrhea became mushy poo and the gas was awful...like I cannot breathe awful. It's been 3 weeks and no improvement and still doesn't eat all his food at each meal. We're mixing it with his old food just so it doesn't go to waste, but we'll have to pass on this. My dobe likes to clean up after the bully, but it gives him bad gas too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I've tried for IBD I have a cat with IBD which causes her terrible vomiting. I have spent a fortune trying every kind of food possible to help her , grain free, sensative system , & many different types of protein, trying to help ease her vomiting. None have made any difference until I tried Wysong Epigen 90 . She is 3 days away from her monthly steroid shot & usually vomiting 4 or 5 times a day by now. Her shot starts wearing off 11 days before the next one & the vomiting starts picking up a lot . She has only vomited once a day during this time period & for the last 2 days, not at all. This is huge . It is at least a 95 % improvement . When absolutely no other food has made a bit of difference , I am thrilled with these results. If you have a cat with IBD vomiting, give it a try . I am certainly glad I did . Finally finding a food that actually makes a really big difference for her means a lot . It is pricey , but worth the results I have gotten. I wish & hope they will eventually make it available in larger bags. I am feeding it to all 5 of my cats now & 5 lb. bags don't last long at all .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our Cats Love It! All of our cats consider Epigen a favorite; we can tell by their excitement every time we put Epigen in their food bowls. We have one cat who is particularly finicky, and Epigen is the only dry food she will eat. Highest quality ingredients, and cats love it!
