Nourish your four-legged friend with a diet designed to optimize her wellness, not just meet minimum nutrition standards, when you fill her bowl with Wysong Epigen 90 Starch-Free Formula Grain-Free Dry Dog & Cat Food. Not satisfied with simply going grain-free, Wysong Epigen is the first dry kibble diet formulated with a patent-pending process that enables them to create a truly starch-free formula that closely mirrors the diet your pal was biologically designed to eat. It contains unprecedented levels of meat—63% protein and 16% fat—along with superfood chia seeds, apple pectin and chicory root, as well as beneficial probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Key Benefits

  • Ultra-high protein, meat-based diet is formulated to optimize your furry friend’s wellness with 63% protein including real organic chicken.
  • Patent-pending extrusion process creates a truly starch-free diet that closely mirrors the diet she was biologically designed to eat.
  • Also features chia seeds and apple pectin, along with beneficial probiotics, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals; rich omega fatty acids help support healthy skin and a lustrous coat.
  • Made in the USA at Wysong’s manufacturing facilities with domestically-sourced, USDA and FDA-approved ingredients.
  • Serve as a complete meal, topper or incremental protein booster; also an ideal therapeutic aid for convalescence, strength enhancement, immune stimulation, weight loss, or any condition requiring a high-protein diet.

NOTE: Wysong Epigen is made with unprecedented protein levels and a highly nutrient-dense recipe that may not be right for all pets. It is very important that Epigen be introduced gradually as outlined in the Feeding Guidelines in order to help prevent digestive upset, especially when transitioning from a lower-protein diet or one that has been fed continuously over a long period of time.

I purchased this product for my IBD kitty who was having issues keeping muscle mass and I was looking for a significant protein source that did not have the things that caused flare ups (for her, potatoes and potato starch). The starch-free formulation was just what she needed (and her non-IBD sisters love it, too). I wish I would have found this earlier as I'm sure I could have greatly improved her quality of life - and kept her with me a little longer. Bless Wysong for making a starch-free, nutritionally complete food.

  • Soft & Shiny Coat

I have a 2-year-old tiger tabby and he loves this food. His coat is super soft and shiny and he has not had any health problems. I started him on the Nurture food when he was a kitten and then graduated to the Epigen 90. He's been on Dr. Wysong products for about 1.5 years now. I agree with the company's nutritional ideals and it is on the pricier side but it's definitely worth it, plus there is a 50 cent coupon on the bag and you can collect those. Their food is grain-free and starch-free and is packed with A LOT of protein. I suggest you check out the Wysong website for more information.

I am so excited that my kitties love this food! It has so many things in it that are good for them. My boy is asthmatic, and has several allergies and I love that this food has probiotics. Very happy with this food!

My cats absolutely love this food! They are so picky but as soon as they tried they loved it. I have two cats with IBS and it didn't affect their stomach. Very happy mommy right here!

  • Wysong Epigen 90

I ordered this because one of my cats has diabetes, and thought this would help her. Well, within a day, both cats were throwing up. After reading the other reviews, I realized this is a problem with this cat food. I've switched to Evo with no problems.

  • Good for Ferrets!

    By on

I purchased a bag of Epigen 90 to feed my 3 adult ferrets. I've always bought Marshall brand food for them, but it pales in comparison to Epigen 90. My critters had more energy, healthier looking poo's, and I knew they were getting the nutrients they need. It is a little pricey, and the bag was smaller than I anticipated, but for the sake of their health and happiness, I will continue to buy and recommend this product!

  • 1/2 cats refused to eat

    By on

We ordered this for our older diabetic cat and started mixing a small amount of this with her old kibble. She picked around this food for over 3 weeks. We gave up when she refused any food that epigen was mixed with. My Alaskan Malamute loves it as training treats. In the end, we ended up mixing it into our outside cat's kibble and she took to it just fine.

  • Best Decision I Made

    By on

After a crazy amount of time trying to learn all that there is to know about dry dog food and trying to figure out what the best dry dog food there is, I stumbled across this brand that I never heard of before, Wysong. I was surprised at how much protein and how little carbohydrates this kibble packed. I was reluctant at first in giving this chance, because I heard mixed things about high protein diets for senior dogs. However, switching to this dog food was probably one of the best decisions I made for my pooch. It is hard not to notice the sheer size of this kibble. What I mean is, this kibble is super duper tiny, but my teacup chihuahua had no fuss in gulping this kibble down. What I mean is, this kibble is super duper tiny, but my teacup chihuahua had no fuss in gulping this kibble down. She goes nuts for it. I'm currently trying to finish off another bag of kibble, so I have been mixing this with her old dog food. However, she will eat this new kibble first, walk away, and return later to finish her old kibble. I haven't noticed any bad gas or diarrhea since I've been making the switch over to Wysong Epigen 90. I was worried at first because of some of the reviews that I have read on here, but I want to state that over the course of a month, I have not noticed any problem since making the switch. I don't think this dog food is expensive. I think it is relatively comparable to most priced brands of dog food and well worth the price … more

Both my dog and cat really love this food. It is expensive, but, nice that they can share the same food.
