Zignature Trout & Salmon Meal Limited Ingredient Formula Grain-Free Dry Dog Food is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 235.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the money! I have a 1.5 year old husky/lab mix that has had allergies since I got him as a baby. He has never been fed cheaper foods, but I still couldn't figure out why he was losing all the hair on his sides. I tried maaaaany different brands & formulas (which can be exhausting & expensive having to ween him on & off a bunch of stuff). I'd assumed it was a poultry allergy at first, as I'd been told that's most common. Switched to limited ingredient but still with no luck until I got him on Zignature Trout & Salmon. He went through about a good three week period where he was shedding a lot, but after that his coat filled in & was fluffier & more shiny than it had ever been! The only reason for four stars rather than five is that evidently this formula has a much higher sodium content than others. I do notice that his poops seem a little more strained & he drinks way more water. I tried to switch him to the Zignature Duck as the sodium is lower, but his coat lost its luster again & he seemed itchier. I 100% recommend this for skin/coat issues, but just be sure to have plenty of fresh water available!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Within 2 weeks scratching stopped I can tell how much my female labrador scratches by the amount of hair on my living room floor, her go-to when she has to scratch because it's the only room with carpeting. She was abruptly popping up in the middle of the night to go scratch and pounded so hard she'd wake the whole house up! She's been on Apoquel, which gave her some relief but it's still a drug, and several other things that were suggested but didn't work. I also tried several grain-free foods but this one was/is the winner so far. Within 2 weeks she totally stopped her outbursts of scratching and she is barely shedding. I started with the Trout/Salmon and now I'm going to try the duck because it's lower in sodium and protein, and even though she's 6 I don't want her on such a high sodium/protein food. As far as taste goes, being an English Labrador, she loves anything so that's not an issue. As far as the reviewer that gave low reviews, this isn't puppy food, puppies should be on puppy food!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Rottie! Good for dog with IBD My 3 year old Rottweiler cannot wait for meal time! She has always been enthusiastic about food, but she really gets animated when I open up the bag now! I have struggled with finding her the right food. Within the past year she was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease and I started feeding her high end limited ingredient, grain free dog foods. I noticed her outbreaks of digestive upsets lessened but they never truly went away. I started doing more research on different foods and found Zignature. No potatoes! Maybe the potatoes weren't ideal for her in previous foods. She has been eating Zignature for 3 weeks now and she has not had any digestive upsets, she put on a little weight, and her skin and coat improved very quickly! The price is moderately better than similar brands such as Blue and Wellness and you get a little more in the bag. Only negatives are that the kibble is a bit small for her, and her breath smells fishy all the time. But that's ok with me if it means a happy, and healthy pup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Pups I have 3 pit bull breed dogs all with different allergies or sensitivities. Since we switched to this brand we have been issue free. There coats look great and I couldn't be any more happy. With that being said I love the auto ship feature that way I have nothing to worry about.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unhappy dog I read so many great things about this brand. My Doberman, Macie, has horrible skin issues, and Zignature is supposed to be the best brand for dogs with skin problems. Unfortunalely, Macie was less than thrilled about this kibble. She loves to eat, but she wouldn't touch this kibble unless she was near starving. After two unsuccessful months of trying to get her to adjust to her new kibble, I had to switch brands. She is now on PetCurean and loves it, however, it's not doing much for her skin. At this point, I might just switch her back to a raw diet. She was a healthier dog overall when she was eating raw foods. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great food I just switched to this food for my 2 bulldogs that have severe allergies. So far, this food has been successfully keeping allergies to a minimum and both dogs seem to love the taste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent dog food! We have an English Bull dog that was suffering from food allergies causing his paws to swell and bleed. In addition, his coat was dry despite many home and veterinarian remedies. Within 2 weeks of giving him this dog food the symptoms minimized significantly. We continue to give him ZIGNATURE and highly recommend it.

We were in Texas and could not find in the area we were in the food we needed so having this website we were able to get the brand that my dogs were already eating I did not have to change
