The DogCare EC11 Dog Training System is a rechargeable dog collar with three different training modes that are safe for your furry friend—beep, vibration and shock. These modes help teach your pup basic obedience commands and can help improve her behavior problems. What’s especially grr-eat about this collar, is that it comes with a remote to help reduce the chance of accidental shock—the unique security keypad lock prevents you from accidentally activating the shock mode. When you are ready to activate the shock mode, you have the option to choose from level 1-99. The DogCare EC11 Training System can support up to 9 dogs with just one single remote transmitter. The remote range gives you wireless control for up to 330 yards and you can have peace of mind knowing that the long-lasting rechargeable, lithium-ion battery life ensures effective dog training.

I ordered a total of three dog training collars and the switch broke in two of them. I just ordered the last one in July of 2022.
on/off Knob and silicon/rubber tips fell off the first day. The knob had a hairline crack and was not tight on the shaft. Manufacture would not fix or replace. Ended up using epoxy to secure knob. Tips were lost. I was very disappointed in the manufacturers customer service. I even offered to purchase the rubber tips and knob and they told me they could not sell them. The only option they gave me was to purchase another one. I said no Thanks. Another more significant problem was the unit will turn on while carrying it in my pocket and shock my dog. The sliding lock will even slide down. The lock button needs to be recessed so it cant be easily moved while carrying in a pocket. I ended up taking it apart and disabling the shock feature by cutting the wires and removing the contact off the circuit board. Its now permanently disabled. My dog responds well with just the beep. After the modification it actually works perfectly without the shock feature. Please understand this review is for the product and its manufacture, not Chewy.
Great product for this to be cheaper than my first collar it lasted wayyy longer. I only ever have to charger the remote and collar every blue moon. The battery life is AMAZING. Great with distance and big buttons to see if you have a hard time seeing such as myself
I've had this collar for awhile now and for some reason, the shock doesn't work. I hold down the button for at least 5 seconds (not on lock mode), and nothing. The beep and vibrate works just fine. I'm trying not to use my voice because I don't want him to associate my voice with the shock, but at this point it wouldn't matter. Is there a secret to using it? I keep turning it up , thinking its down too low, but nothing. It's at 80 now and doesn't even affect my dog.
I got the collar, put it on my dog, and he was ok with it for a while, I had the remote in my pocket and it turned on in my pocket and shocked my dog...now he's terrified of the collar. The turn dial to turn the remote on/off is to sensitive. Not to mention even on a low setting like 6, it feels just as powerful as the 20 or 99 level.(yes I tested it myself after he freaked out) I've been around dogs with trainable collars and non of them were this power at the low levels.
I have ordered other dog training systems like this one and have found this one to be the best between them. It has helped in a lot of ways that other things we tried were not working or our service dog in training was deciding to ignore.
Bought 3 of these to train our dogs. They work great and all I had to do was just grab the remote and they knew what it was for. They wouldn't go outside so had to let them out first and then grab remote. Love how I can use 1 remote for 3 collars even though I have 3 of each product. Downside is one of the collars came apart and shocked my dog so now I'm down to two collars. Also, the collars shut off after some time so have to make sure they are on before letting outside.
As soon as I put the collar on my dog, it zapped her. She screamed so loud and literally was terrified of the collar AND ME broke my heart. Stopped working, it just recently wouldn’t turn back on.
I recommend this trainer for anyone who has a pup that is extremely stubborn. This trainer was a blessing. My dog was very stubborn and would not listen at all. From the first day of using this trainer, my dog learned how to mellow out and listen when spoke to. Within 3 days, all I had to do is show her the remote or use the warning button and she would do as commanded.
This worked great for my dog to help curb a barking issue. I liked that it had a lock button on the side so I didn't accidentally hit any of the correction buttons when not needed. I only gave it 3 stars because after a month of using it only a couple times a day, the top cover came off the main unit on the collar making it unusable. Tried to reach out the the makers customer support but so far after a week of waiting..no response. Had I not had this issue or was able to get a response/fix, this would definately be a 5 star product.
