Let's Measure!

For the best fit, match the below dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.

  • Paw Width: While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.

  • Paw Length: With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.

    Small area of traction control

    By on

For my little "Frenchie", they did not work well. I did measured for size, but these were still too big. I don't feel there is enough "grip" area to control enough traction to benefit. This review just means they didn't work for my little girl.

Cute but did not fit or stay on

    By on

For smaller dogs these may work however for our Lab these did not work. The largest size would not go all the way up his paw and they would not stay on. They are very much like socks for newborn/infant humans. Would not recommend for a dog that is medium size or larger.

    Poor quality

    By on

First these socks look awful big for a 2.25 measurement! Just put them in washer and dryer to try to shrink up! Second the outside looks nice, but the inside of the sock is full of many many very small thread loops to get caught on toenails. If you don’t notice a toenail is caught on thread and pull the sock up that will not feel good to an animal! First time trying this brand! I doubt I will use this brand again! I took a picture of the inside of the sock so you can see how bad the threads are to get caught on toenails!

Would serve its purpose if they stayed on

    By on

Got these at yet another attempt to stop my dog licking and biting obsessively at her paws as her allergy meds still dont seem to be doing anything. They arent easy to get on and they dont stay on at all! My dog stands up and they slide right off. They could work if they stayed on longer than a minute. Maybe boots would work better but Im not sure they wouldnt just slide off as well

    poor quality

Hi - These stocks had so little gripping that both of my dogs fell up the stairs. Do not waste your money. Perhaps they work for a Chihuahua - buy onmy labs they were a disaster.

    Cozy Warm paws

    By on

My Mal-Chi loves to wear these when our ND winter weather is freezing cold. Koda realizes when his booties are on, his little paws are warmer. He runs around like King of the complex. I recommend clipped nails for easier put-on. And, they don't stay on with any activity. I use rubberbands, BUT, you can't leave them on as they can cause decrease in circulation and thus, itchiness to your pet. I like them much better than the stiff boots; however, soft velcro straps would be a great addition.

    Socks Slip Off!

    By on

These little socks are cute, but just don't stay up and on my dog's feet properly. They need tighter elastic around the top of each sock. If you do buy these, I recommend buying at least one size down because they seem to run bigger than the size chart suggests. Also note if your dog's front paws are bigger than the back paws, these especially won't stay up on the 2 smaller paws.

    For aging Doberman

    By on

I bought these for our 12-year-old Doberman because he slips on our hardwood. He weighs about 95 pounds and I bought the XL. They work great but do not want to stay up or on. So we tried a couple of different things and ended up using my cloth hair ties to secure them around his ankles. We are only using them on his back feet. So far so good. I should mention that he hates his feet messed with but once he noticed how well he could walk on the hardwood with these, he sits for me to put them on. Wish he could wear them outside though.

    Comically small non-slip area

    By on

I got these for my old dogs who slip around on my wood floors when they get excited. Unfortunately, the non slip areas on the socks are tiny so if they move around at all (which they will because they’re on a dog), suddenly the dog has regular socks on. It’s like 2 old dogs sliding around on ice. They’re a good idea but poorly executed.
