What is the level of UVA or UBV protection for the lenses? I have a German Shepherd dog with Pannis (eye disorder and sensitivity to sunlight) Our Vet recommend keeping them out of direct sunlight.
Answer by ChewyFeb 27, 2018
This product has 100% UVA and UVB protection polycarbonate lenses.

We have a Blue Heeler that won't like the eye glasses,is there a chin strap and any other strap to hold it in place......looking forward to putting the top down with my best mate.......cheers
Answer by ChewyJun 25, 2018
This features a chin strap as well as a head strap to keep the goggles secure.

is the piece between the lenses flexible? can it bent without breaking? a pair we current have are ridged and therefore the side of the lenses are held out to the side of the face allowing a lot of wind to flow in around the eyes.
Answer by ChewyDec 07, 2018
The goggles are flexible and can bend slightly to contour to your pet's face.

Are there two straps to keep the goggles in place?
Answer by ChewyApr 01, 2022
The goggles have adjustable elastic straps for a snug fit on your pal’s head and chin. Feel the middle section of the clasp and pull up on the material in the middle. The strap will tighten and the clasp will move up on the strap. Pull the material until the strap feels comfortable on your pup.

Cute Doggles

I received these today for my baby Cocoa. They are perfect for his eyes and face. I must admit I had to adjust the strap, but that's okay. I don't think Cocoa is that crazy about them yet. He growls when I tried them on him. I've only put them on him once and that was to see how they fit. I got these because when he rides in the truck with me and it's sunny, his eyes get all watery. I hope these will help him with that problem.

Looks Cool And Really Works

We've actually been out on a couple of rides so far. They really work and she doesn't seem to mind wearing them. It's a win-win for me. The scooter gets 110 miles per gallon. I don't have to take the car anymore.

Sunglasses for dogs

My little guy is 13 and has cataracts. He has big problems with his vision when he’s out in the sun so my vet suggested we try doggles. We are still practicing putting them on and walking around the house. I’m hopeful they will help for our outdoor walks

Good to.have

Mia doesn’t care for these but I think when she has used them a few times she’ll realize how nice they are. The sun makes her eyes water so badly so we got these to try to help her.

Does not fit mini dachshunds

Neither the xsmall nor small will fit your mini dachshund. Their noses and distance between their eyes is clearly too unique for these generic doggles. Save your money. 2 stars because they look like OK quality, just doesn’t fit my mini dachshunds faces.

Blue and his Doggles

It took 3 or 4 times for him to wear them before became comfortable and no longer tried to get them off his face. Now he would go to sleep wearing them. They really do protect his eyes from bug impact when he's in the back of the truck going for rides.

Daisy is a star

I'm not sure about these, Daisy says.Mom says, they seem to help reduce dazzle reflex that has plagued my Daisy. We're still adjusting....

Smaller than the pair I ordered straight from Doggles website

I bought my first pair of these (med) on the Doggles website and eventually, as they do, they got scratched. So I ordered the same size here on Chewy, and the length of the head strap is about an inch 1/2 or more smaller & too tight. So, needless to say, they are super uncomfortable on him & he constantly tried to get them off. (Not the first pair I ordered from Doggles, which were Mediums as well.) I thought they should've been the same size. Don't know if it was a fluke or what. Was disappointed.

Great quality....but he didn’t like them.

These definitely would work on labs, boxers, pits etcetera.....but my medium, slender nosed, standard poodle was not comfortable in them. I took my time to get him used to them. And he would tolerate them really well for a while and then paw them off. We have a fantastic local pet rescue. I know someone will benefit from these...the Arizona sun is strong.
