A very poorly made toy.
I am not sure how this made it past quality control. The opening for the bottle was not sewn correctly. An empty drink bottle does not fit in.
fun for the pups
Bought this with low expectations has my pups will chew through it all. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and durability. I will say I bought both ground hog and yellow duck and the larger the animal the more room for the plastic bottle to wiggle. My pups prefer the hog probably because it’s smaller and that bottle stays put better. Never had issue with the closure coming open during play. As long as you ensure you seal closed all is good. Pleased overall and do recommend.
Love this toy
Our 11 lb Terrier mix has destroyed a lot of her toys in minutes. This one is her favorite and we put a Coke plastic bottle in it instead of a water bottle. She has had this one the longest and it is getting a little ragged. Please get some more in as it is her favorite and ours too as it has held up the longest for her.
Dog toy review
Chewy recommended this toy for our very active Jack Russell. She destroyed it within one day. We tried stitching it back together but to no avail. The you had to be trashed. She loves to play and we are sad that we can't find a toy that will hold up!
Great toy if your dog has a weak or medium bite. Not for dogs with strong jaws.
Summary: My greyhound destroyed this toy (in an impressive display) in under 10 minutes. I so wanted to like this toy. I was interested in a toy that would allow me to replace the 'crinkle' object without having to replace the whole toy. My order arrived today, and I was excited to give my girl her new toy. I first gave it to her without the bottle inside. She loved it! Biting the squeakers, tossing it around, and running around the room. After a few minutes I had a chance to take it, and put the bottle inside. I tossed it back to her, and the moment she heard (and felt) the crackling of the plastic bottle, she was in heaven. Watching, I realized the toy didn't stand a chance. The velcro opening and the seam around the tail & back legs were no match. I probably should have known better, but was hoping I would at least get a few weeks out of the toy. I'm giving the toy 2 stars for the 10 minutes of intense joy it brought my dog. Maybe I'll try again in 7 years, when she's a 'senior dog'; but for now I can't afford the cost of purchasing the toy again for only 10 mins of use.
My dog LOVED this toy
My dog does not usually play with toys but loved this toy. I also liked how you can use a water bottle versus stuffing.
A good crunchy toy
Gave this to my dog niece. She loves it. My sister hates to pick it up from all the chewy slobber on it. Lol
Stuffed vs not
The labs did not like the toy when it was stuffed with a bottle but liked it unstuffed. They enjoy the toy and it is holding up but it is not a favorite of theirs.
Holds up well!
We tried a cheaper version of a Bottle Toy and it lasted under 5 minutes.Not from chewy I will add. Our Grand-Dog LOVES this one and it has lasted very well. Thank you for being you!
