Very convenient and lots of pockets!

I really love this! I've been wanting it for a while but I finally ordered for my hike with my pup. She didn't care about the treats during all the excitement, but it was a great snack for her when we finished up the hike. It's a great training tool when we're out in public too! Love the color, many design flaws

By Rina on Jun 29, 2018

It is too bad that there are so many design flaws on this cute pink treat pouch. the color is wonderful and looks the same as the photo here on Chewy. The overall functionality of this pouch is mediocre at best. Sure, it is durable, great for storing a bunch of treats, and can be cleaned easily. The overall functionality of this pouch is mediocre at best. Sure, it is durable, great for storing a bunch of treats, and can be cleaned easily. I like the magnet closure and wide opening, which makes for quick and easy access. However, I have no idea what the inner flat pouch is for??? It is so useless and all it does for me is get my treats stuck inside because of the flat velcro piece in the center. Now on the outside, there is a zippered pouch which rests against you. It is spacious, but kind of useless and does not fit my iPhone 10 and if I put my keys in there, it interferes with the treat accessibility of the main pouch. So I use the zippered pouch for poop bags. Can anyone tell me what the side pockets are for? They have such little room and a hole at the bottom which I only presume is for poop bags. But a whole standard roll of poop bags WILL NOT fit in it. Making those little side pouches useless to me. The side rings are not useful either. The front pouch with the 'doggone good' logo is terrible too. It has no space in it (or if you put anything in it, it takes away from the volume of the main pouch) and things can bounce out so easily. I've lost keys before from sticking them in there and bending over to pick up poo. Not a smart design! Lastly, the waistband is awful. It is not thick or wide enough to STAY comfortably on your hips. If you have a bunch of treats in there, it weighs down quite uncomfortably. If I could talk to the makers, I would make these suggestions: 1. Ditch the weird inner velcro pocket within the main pocket 2. take out the stiff plastic piece that keeps it in shape. It just takes up space and makes it more difficult to put things like keys in. Besides, if you store treats in this treat pouch, it will keep its shape, as will the fabric. 3. redesign the side pockets. I'm not sure why there is need for two. Make one so that it fits an entire standard poop roll. The hole should be on the side instead of the bottom. 4. Change the plastic rings to a clip for your keys?? 5. Wider waistband that doesn't slip 6. Front pocket needs more volume and a zipper. Perhaps large enough for a phone? Or maybe the phone pocket should be the zippered outside pocket, but should zipper from the top instead of the side. I think this bag has a lot of potential but right now it is a no from me :-( I haven't found a pouch that works well for what I need yet so will keep looking. … more

    no belt included

I like the bag but it does not come with a belt to go around your waist. It shows a photo of a girl with the belt. The clip bags never stay put.

    Exactly what I wanted

    By on

I haven't had a chance to use this yet but seems to be just what I want. It's an easy to get to treat holder while training. During the winter I use my coat pocket but in warmer weather I don't always have an easy to get to pocket.

    Not what I expected

    By on

I thought this was the perfect treat pouch, but NOT The opening is too small to get out treats in rapid rewards. After about 1/2 hour, I started getting a blister on my hand! It says you can fit a cell phone and keys - in the BACK of the pouch, but you have to take it off to access them. Probably will return it

    Handy accessory for walks

    By on

I bought this pouch as a replacement for a PetSafe Treat Pouch Sport. I was happy with that product, but the metal spring that made it so secure and useful failed on both my previous purchases, so I looked for a different option. I have two dogs who are very food-motivated, so I rely on the convenience and capacity of a treat pouch (I don't have to inventory stuff before walks--I keep my pouch "loaded" and can just grab and go!) with an attached poop-sack dispenser. This one holds a *lot* of treats, and has small compartments for other items. Several people have questions re the phone space: my iPhone 6 fits fine, but its horizontally oriented, zippered pocket is on the back of the pouch, under the belt/clip. While this may keep the phone safer, it's also more awkward to retrieve for speedy answering or camera use. The belt (I can't use it with the clip alone) is flimsier than the PetSafe version, so I swapped it out. This bag has a more bucket-like shape and structure than the PetSafe pouch, which may be great for owners of big dogs who get big treats, but it also makes the bag bulky and somewhat awkward when getting in your car while wearing it, for example. My only real complaint is the closure: this pouch relies on a pair of magnets to keep the top closed. Maybe it's because they're stitched under the fabric of the pouch, maybe they're not powerful enough to begin with, but the closure is simply unreliable, and if you drop the pouch or lean too far, your dog can help itself with ease. … more

All of our clients and team members love the spaciousness in the bag. It clips on a belt or has a strap.

    Great treat bag

    By on

Nice, sturdy bag. Easy access to get treats, but magnetic closure means they don’t fall out. Waist strap is comfortable and secure. Lots of extra pockets if you need, want them. Highly recommended.

Awesome! Recommended to ALL dog trainers :)

    By on

I've used a lot of treat bags as a professional dog trainer. This is the best one yet! Most dump food out, lack storage, move around, are hard to get into, but this one solves ALL those problems.

Not as good as I'd hoped

    By on

I ordered two different training bags hoping one of them would work for me. I had high hopes for this one, but as soon as I put it on I knew it didn't open wide enough at the top to make it easy to quickly access treats. I like that it's deep, and have kept it as a secondary bag to carry balls, pet corrector, and the like. I haven't actually used it yet, so don't know how well it will work for this or how convenient any other pockets will be.
