Sure, a pup trying to crawl on your lap while you're driving sounds cute, but let's face it: they're not very good at driving. Keep you and your pet safe and sound on your way to the park with the Dogit Car Safety Dog Belt. These adjustable safety straps attach to your pet's harness and buckle directly into the seat belt to make sure everyone stays exactly where they should.
Freedom of movement can be easily controlled with the adjustable slider.
Made from a strong nylon weave, belt won't break under strain or pulling stress by a dog.
Reduces driver distraction and keeps pet secure.
Attaches to any harness or collar and comes with a seat belt buckle end that attaches the belt right to the car seat belt lock.
Length of up to 34 inches, providing plenty of reach within a car.
I have two dogs, one of whom likes to try and crawl in my lap while I'm driving. On multiple occasions I've had to take a sharp turn or slam on the brakes while driving. These keep my pups safe and in the safest place in the car. They attach perfectly to their harnesses and keep them from jumping out of the car when we stop too. Great purchase.
Made our ride so much better!

Received quickly as usual from Chewy. Bought to go with the Kurgo harness (even though it came with it's own seatbelt harness). Easy to use, just clicks in like your vehicle's seatbelt and connects to your pet's harness like a leash. Has adjustable strap. Seems like it will hold up well. Definitely recommend.
Great for road trips

This was super easy to “set up” all you have to do is click it into the seat belt receptacle and it’s ready to go. My lab likes to stick his head out the window when he’s riding with me and this allows him to do so safely and gives me peace of mind.
Shih Tzu Puppy

The belt is very reliable and essential for car rides. My puppy hasn’t chewed on it at all and wasn’t bothered by it. Definitely look into getting a harness with it. I recommend getting a belt, but especially if the dog understands the rules of staying in their seat in the car. My 4 month Shih Tzu puppy tends to walk over to my seat when I’m driving to get a better view out the window but I adjust the belt to the best length. I have a Ford and it latches into the buckle with no issue.

Love taking my pup for car rides and to go on adventures on a new trail/hike but am always concerned about her safety. What if I get hit by another driver or she sees another dog outside and wants to play or join me in the drivers seat. This gave me peace of mind that she would be secured and in one spot during the trip.
Simple and Effective

The dog belt is an adjustable strap. One end clicks into the belt holder at the base of the back seat, the other attaches to the dog's harness. I use a harness on my toy poodle, and have adjusted the strap so he has room to move around, look out the window, etc. I haven't had to stop suddenly yet, but the concept is excellent and so simple and affordable I don't know why everybody doesn't get one. The same people who object to using seat belts for themselves, I suppose!
Did not work

I have a 106 lb golden retriver. Bought this and while driving my crazy dog pulled it till it became unlatched from the seat belt lock. Yes he ended up in the front seat. Maybe work on small dogs or well behaved dogs. LOL
It works in my Honda Civic!

This attaches right to the seat belt clip. It’s adjustable and works great for my 4 month old puppy. I only gave it 4 stars because my daughter said that it didn’t work in her Toyota Highlander.
Works really well

This is great for our 45-pound dog who is all muscle. It secures her in the back seat and keeps her from being able to get up front and distract whoever is driving.
Saved my daughter's dog

My daughter was recently in an accident where a gentleman ran a red light and t-boned them. This seatbelt saved her dog from becoming a projectile and saved her from hitting the airbags that went off!! It also saved Maisy from running off when the EMT's came to the car to get my daughter out. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!
