Slow down there, li'l doggy… no one's going to grab your food! Pups who gulp their food to make sure no one else gets even a single piece of kibble often have problems with digestion or vomiting. The Dogit Blue Go Slow Anti-Gulping Dog Bowl prevents pets from eating or drinking too fast thanks to the molded bumpers in the bowl.
Encourages pet to eat or drink at a slower pace preventing indigestion, vomiting and bloating.
Can be used to feed water, wet or dry food.
Bowl is dishwasher safe for easy clean up.
Available in multiple sizes for any size dog.
Great solution for dogs who eat and drink too quickly.

I was concerned that it wouldn't work because it's such a simple design. The price was good, so I figured "why not give it a try". It did work to slow down her eating. I actually heard kibble being chewed rather than just inhaled and swallowed. The only problem I have is that it doesn't fit into an elevated feeding station. However I haven't seen any slow feeder designs that do. I'm happy with this purchase.
Smallest size can work for cats!

I wanted a smaller bowl that would help slow my little piggie cat down when she ate, but everything I looked at that was billed for cats was just way bigger than the space I have available. So I started checking out the dog bowls designed to slow down their eating, and found that this brand had a very small size that was also shallow enough my cat could get her dainty little nose down to the bottom of it. I thought at first she was going to refuse to use it, but no, the kibble sent out its siren song, and she finally caved and deigned to eat from it. It is just a LITTLE deep, but not so much that she won't stick her face down there. So I'm happy because she's eating slower, but she's not quite so happy, because she can't get at the food as easily. But that was the point!… more
Not bad, but not ideal

Purchased this and one other slow-feeding bowl for my 3-year old lab who just inhales his food. Found it didn't work as well as the ones that are more complex to navigate. While it's sturdy and shouldn't be able to be tipped, he learned to push his snout under the lip and tip it enough to move the food all to one side so he can hoover it.
Easy to clean. Nice weight.

Our dog is a fast eater and we have another slow feeding bowl for her but it was a pain to clean. I bought this as an alternative that is easy to clean and it works well for us. I was pleasantly surprised by the weight/quality of the plastic. Price was affordable. There is only one downside here. The pattern is not overly complicated, so if you have a super-genius level pup, I might not recommend as it is an easier pattern to master.
Met my expectations

My little dogs apparently have the habit of gulping food before someone else gets it! This slowed down their eating, along with separating them. They seem to be more comfortable at meal time. The bowls are heavy and don’t move around on the floor. I bought 4 small and highly recommend them.
Best slow feed dish

We have a 9 year old lab that has always ate his entire food in less than 30 seconds. I had looked before for dishes but none worked for us - they were more of the puzzle type - which ended up frustrating him and he learned quickly he could flip them. This one is perfect - it also allows for wet ingredients to be added to the dish as well. It has taken him from 30 seconds to about 3-4 minutes now - a big change. Also very sturdy plastic.

This bowl is made of sturdy smooth material, and cleans up well. It has a nice weight to it so it doesn’t slide around. It definitely slows my puppy down. There are usually a few food kernels at the end that she can’t get out on her own, so I dump them for her before washing the bowl.

This is great for my pup, as he was always eating too fast and gulping air, which made him very gassy and gave him an upset tummy. He was very perplexed at first but he's gotten used to eating out of this bowl, but it keeps him at a decent eating pace. :)
Bought for my cat

I ended up buying this for my cat and it has worked amazing! He no longer gulps his food, and he does not slide around because of the grips on the bottom. Highly recommended!
Disappointed, didn't work on my little guy!

My 5lb - terrier mix still inhaled everything in this bowl! The bump in the middle was way to low and there are way to few to slow him down. It was a well made bowl and I thought perfect size but unfortunately just isn't effective.
