I recommend it!
By Jess on Jan 26, 2021
I've had it for a few weeks and love it. The only reason I rated 4 stars is because it has been offline on the app a few times, but is most likely my wifi connection and not the device. My wifi connection in my house is not great, so there has been a few times it was not connected when I checked on the app. It always has eventually connected to make sure the feedings were completed and access the other functions. I really like being able to see my dog with the camera and talk through the microphone when I'm gone for long work days.

It does what it suppose to, but tricky to set up.
By Juju on Nov 19, 2020
I've had this feeder for a few months, so far so good. I see a lot of reviews about the connection/setup challenges, and it took me a couple days to do mine. When holding my phone, I had to be still for a little while, and eventually I got the hang of it. I still couldn't complete the set up - after trying many times, we decided to change the wifi password from the 20+ character to something simple.... and that did the trick! We don't use it regularly, as it's more for when we are away or won't be home in time to feed wet food to the cats. The camera works great, and sometimes I yell at the cats from bed using the mic feature, if I notice they are getting into trouble in the kitchen or I've had this feeder for a few months, so far so good. Great Feeder
By Fred on Oct 28, 2020
This is an excellent feeder; you can view your pets, talk to your pets, and listen in on them. It has worked flawlessly. It has excellent capacity. The only drawback is that you can only set up 6 feedings per day, that is fine for my two Siamese cats. I set it up to call them right before it dumps and watch them come running.

not working
By rachel on Jul 3, 2020
This product is hard to use. It has to use QR code to connect to WiFi on the device and this product can’t read the code in anyhow . The other way of using dignes wifi to connect is not working as well. I didn’t see any sign of it.

Imported, overpriced junk
By DiscoBoogie on Jul 3, 2020
Ugh. FOA, the directions were only in Chinese. Uhhh... 2. Random manufacturer that has ZERO customer service. 3. Stopped working after a few months. Just completely stopped.

Connection issues
By Connection on Feb 24, 2020
I can't even use this product since it won't connect to my phone or Internet. It read the QR code at first then said there was a connection issue and had me re type the wifi password and try again. To which the device would not beep again showing it read the QR code. Tried the broadband method but it is not listed which makes me think it is a dogness issue. This product is too expensive to be having simple problems like this plus there are many typos on the dogness app which is a red flag.

Best Cat Feeder Yet
By Do42dotcom on Jan 13, 2020
I have to compare this automatic cat feeder with others that I have owned in the past. It is by far the best one yet. The problem that I have had with prior cat feeders is that occasionally they would jam. When this happens the cats would go without food. The mechanism for this does appear to be jam free as long as you're using dry pelletized food. The thing is actually very decorative. It looks modern and will fit with any home decor especially since it comes in varying colors. The white unit will go with virtually any decor. It works fantastic! You can program the exact amount of food that you want your pet to have. You specify how many portions on each feeding and you can specify I have to compare this automatic cat feeder with others that I have owned in the past. It is by far the best one yet. You can program the exact amount of food that you want your pet to have. You specify how many portions on each feeding and you can specify anywhere from one to 20 portions. I feed my cat two portions on some feedings and three portions on others. The programming allows you to specify different portion sizes for different feedings so you could feed your cat 4 portions at 8am and 2 portions at noon. Once the app is set up it is extremely easy and intuitive to use. The only noise that unit makes are the pellets hitting the metal pan which will wake you up if you are asleep. The only real drawback to the unit is the inability to know how much food is left in the unit. Even though that is a drawback the unit holds quite a bit of food and usually checking it once a week is sufficient. I cannot attest to the durability of the unit but it does appear to be rather ruggedly made and it should last several years. The part that is likely to malfunction is the feeding turret. It does come with a large and small feeding turret and if the large one breaks then you could install the smaller one and simply add more portions to each feeding. It is by far the most expensive one but I do feel the value is worth it. I don't use the camera or microphone but it is handy for those who like to watch a certain area where the feeder is located. The other drawback is the green Wi-Fi light. If this is in your bedroom and you are trying to sleep you will need to put a piece of tape over that green light to keep it from distracting you. … more

Wont connect
By Taylor on Jan 14, 2020
I have a galaxy S7 and the device will not connect to my phone. I keep trying to call customer service, but no one will get back to me. The camera will not read my QR code to connect, and there is no dogness wifi connection when I try the broadcast option.
