great if the motor didn’t break
The size is great, and it’s easy to set up. The portion size and multiple feeding time options are flexible enough that I could create a schedule that worked for my cat (who can’t get all his food at once, for the sake of my carpet). I’d seen reviews saying it stopped working after a few months of regular use, but since I only need it for a few days here and there when I’m out of town I wasn’t too concerned about longevity. Unfortunately, it stopped working during the second week I had it running as a test. (The manual feed setting was helpful for determining that it was in fact broken since according to the cat it never produced a single piece of food). I tried cleaning it in case it was jammed but it’s the engine that’s just not running at the correct speed anymore. It does have a year long warranty I’ll try to use, but I was headed out of town and purchased a different brand as an immediate replacement. I like the overall use and design of this one better, so it’s a shame the engine is so flawed.
Where are the cleaning instructions?
This came with a small strip of paper about basic safety and setup. There's no owner manual with it, or online. It's time to clean the feeder and it looks like I'll have to unscrew the housing? Hope I don't break it. Other than that, this has worked consistently well and relieved a lot of stress around feedings, both for my cat who no longer needs to chase us down and beg, and for us who can sleep in, or not be tripped by a hungry cat.
Perfect automatic feeder!
We bought this classy looking feeder for days when we will be gone during our cat's feeding time. We have left it in her feeding area because it is so convenient. She runs when she hears the kibbles drop down!
50/50 on this one
Bought two of these to feed my cats during the work day while I’m gone, got them in March 23’ and it’s now August and one of them has stopped working. Emptied the container thinking something was stuck in it but the rotation device is doing like 1/8th of a spin, unable to dispense any food at all. The other one is still working correctly but these greedy monsters need to be fed in separate rooms so I will have to buy a different one now.
dead motor 15 mos out
I bought two of these in April 2022 to stop my cats from waking me for breakfast. Until now, the feeders worked as expected, except for one's clock being slightly slower than the other so every couple months or so I would need to reset to get them back in sync. But now in July 2023, shortly after the 1-year warranty's expired, I've discovered the motor for one has died. I'll be trying a different brand for a replacement.

This feeder is amazing!! It works exactly as described. It comes with very clear instructions on how to set it up and it’s completely customizable. At first I was worried because it takes about ten seconds for it to close after your pet walks away. At first my other cat would sneak in and eat some food but it scares her when it closes so she just stays away now. My cat is 13 and he caught on immediately to how it works. The tag is bulky but my cat doesn’t seems to mind. I don’t think he even notices it’s on him. And it can hold a TON of food! If you’re struggling with feeding your animals two different foods, or if you’re having problems with one pet overeating, GET IT!!

Our kitty developed the habit of crying non-stop every morning, beginning at 6 am - wanting breakfast. Rather than dragging ourselves out of bed, we bought this nifty feeder which dispenses her cereal for us. It doesn't take up much room and is relatively quiet, compared to another brand we had some years ago. She likes it, she eats and we get to sleep in.

Love the feeders. I got 2, 1 for each of my cats and they are easy to program and use! We got them because we are going out of town on vacation.
Reliable and easy to set up
This holds about 10 days worth of food for my cat. She doesn't wake me up at 5am for food anymore, which is a relief, and I can leave her home alone for a night without arranging for a neighbor kid to come over and feed her. The only drawback is that the dispenser settings don't have a volume associated with them, so it took some trial and error to get the appropriate meal size. Including a volume table in the directions would've bumped this up to 5-stars.
Has some issues
I've had two of these feeders for close to a year now. My biggest gripe about the machine is that it just doesn't go off sometimes, so my cats will miss a feeding. There's no discernible reason why this happens. The interface to set the clock and feedings is thin plastic that's all scratched up from pushing its little buttons. It's also impossible to clean. On the plus side, my cat can't break into it - because of its egg shape, it's difficult to knock over, and even when he does manage to push it over on its side, the lid stays closed. He also can't get his paw up into the shoot, which he used to do with his old feeder.
