My 15-year-old beagle mix had been having a lot of trouble with mobility due to a broken pelvis many years ago. Pain medication made her lethargic, and didn't actually seem to help her get around. She had also become a very picky eater as she aged. I started making dog-safe chicken stew to mix in with her dry food, and adding a joint care supplement to the mix, then I weaned her off the pain medication. She seemed to be doing much better, but after a while making and canning large quantities of the stew was difficult, so I started looking for another option.
I saw that this food was rated very well, so we decided to try it. She and our other dog (8-year-old husky/german shepherd/other mix) both loved it right away. After a few weeks she is doing very well, bouncing around like she did when she was much younger. Although she still has limitations, she clearly feels a lot better.
I'm not doing homemade anymore because this food looks and smells great, and my girls have done very well eating it. The bonus is that Chewy's autoship means I always have their food, and never have to set aside a day to cook and can!

Tried this product I purchased from a grocery store and my dogs really seemed to enjoy it. So I ordered a couple of cases on line as it is cheaper to purchase that way.
The more my dogs eat it, the more they like it. It's about the only thing they eat where they clean their bowl!

My old dog has trouble with kibble these days, and is a picky eater when it comes to wet foods. She prefers stew type dog foods with a limited ingredient list (the more ingredients, the more fussy she seems).
This one makes her very happy, and the price is great. The calorie count is average per can, at 332/can, and the protein is a bit low (8% vs most brands' 10-13%), but I can supplement with cooked meat and some kibble.
As for the "happy hips" I can make no claims. My arthritic dog is exactly like she was before she started eating this food. Dietary glucosamine and chondroitin supplements have very spotty and poor results in actual dog studies, so I didn't expect any miracles.

by Mangus This product worked wonders on our St. Bernard!
Prior to feeding our dog Happy Hips, he had a very hard time getting up. He would not run or play without his back legs giving out. We were giving him Glucosimine Chondroitin and enteric coated aspirin with little effect. We began to feed him one can of Happy Hips a day with his dry food and within 3 weeks he is running with our other smaller dog, playing and so much more active. We are estatic with his tranformation! It is like we have our puppy back. He is only five so we are so fortunate to have found this product. We tried it on a whim and so glad we did! We will not feed him anything else!

Rated 5 out of 5 by 122783 THE BEST!
My dog is on the Dogswell happy hips chicken/sweet potato, happy hips lamb/sweet potato, and the Dogswell happy hips duck/sweet potato canned foods. Before finding this food my dog was unable to keep any of his foods down for any length of time (very sad). Even my. vet was unable to do any good with his diet. So I had to search for myself for a food that might be able to help him. THEN I FOUND DOGSWELL!! What a difference. There is a definite difference with this food and it's for the best. The dry Dogswell is just as good as the canned.

I can only guess that my dog loves this since she can't tell me, but she does eat it all up. I would buy it and I have bought it over and over.

We recently switched from Verus Grain Free to Happy Hips. Can't tell yet about the hips, but the dogs are certainly happy! The product is as advertised, with quality canning and packaging.
