Good healthy dog food
By GibbsMom on Aug 17, 2019
I’ve been searching for a kibble that wasn’t grain free but used good grains. Dogswell has been my GOLD STANDARD for treats for over 15 yrs. when I saw they had a dog food, reasonably priced and wasn’t “grain free”, I had to try it. So far my Boxer and two Terrier fosters are pleased with it. Note that my Boxer does NOT get gas from Dogswell. If you know the breed, THAT is HUGE! I get many fosters straight from high kill shelters where they are fed crap dog food. I had four fosters come since this bag arrived this month, and not one issue giving them this food immediately (no transition from crap food, I will NOT have previously recalled brands in my home. If they have been recalled out they I’ve been searching for a kibble that wasn’t grain free but used good grains. Don’t think it smelled like this before.
By Chrmicalsmell on Mar 16, 2019
My dog has been eating this bag and the blue bag for nearly 9 years. Now he won’t touch it. I assumed it was because the blue bag is what he had last and I ordered the orange this time- but he always ate it before. I waited a Few weeks and he grabs one pebble at a time and then just gives up. I smelled the food today & I was appalled! It smells horrrible like a chemicals. I’m pretty sure that I’ve smelled it before and I don’t remember it smelling this way. I see one other review saying the same thing- anyone else?

Smells terrible

I don't know why, but this is the worst smelling kibble I've encountered in the last 55 yrs of having dogs. I will not buy it again.

Chicken and Oats Dry dog food
By Sassy on Jan 17, 2017
I have been purchasing this product for Sassy in the grocery store and it's just easier for me to order it online that way I don't have to remember if i got it for her when at the grocery store. It's very convient for me and she loves the food. The other reason I bought it was because there is no corn wheat or soy.

No more small bags? Four pounds? Fifteen pounds?
By DogDayAfternoon on Dec 20, 2016
I like this food for my terrier, I like to mix it with the Nutrisca salmon and chickpea (my other dog does best on). I use the kibble as a base. So, I prefer to get a small bag. What gives?
