Description

Get complete control over your pal without a leash or choke collar with the Dogtra Company ARC Dog Training Collar System. When your pal wears the lightweight, slim-profile collar, it forms an invisible leash that works up to a three-quarter mile away, while you hold control with the ergo dynamic handheld transmitter with checkered grip and belt clip. You can choose from three modes with the push of a button―nick for a short electric stimulus, constant for a sustained stimulus, and page mode for a shock-free vibration that can be used as a reward or warning signal. The ideal behavior shaping device that works from a distance, it’s perfect for detection training or obedience. Plus, the intensity is fully adjustable from low to medium levels to accommodate your pal’s needs. The collar is ready to use in any weather thanks to its waterproof, shockproof design and comes with 2-hour rapid charge batteries.

Additional Details

Dogs should be in good health during any e-collar training. Dogtra e-collars are not intended for use on dogs weighing less than 10 lbs or under 6 months of age. Skin irritation can occur from prolonged wearing of the stainless steel contact points on the training collar. Most dogs will exhibit some type of irritation (pressure necrosis) from prolonged contact of stainless steel contact points. Avoid having the dog wear the collar with the contact points in the same place for more than two hours at a time. Leaving the contact points on the same spot for an extended period of time can cause skin irritation. If the dog is to wear the e-collar for long periods, occasionally reposition the collar so that the contact points are moved to a different spot on the dog's neck.

  • Both reviver broke less than 5 months.

Dogtra ARC training recovers are not good. I bought training receiver collar system in July 2017; and I bought one extra reviver at the same time. Both receivers stop working in November 2017. I have three working dogs (schutzhund/IPO). I called Dogtra Company customer service they refuse to make an exchange and asked me to sent the reviver to Dogtra Company for repair and told me that I could be charged a repair fee. Furthermore, I have to pay from my pocket to ship the receivers back to Dogtra Company. My advice do not buy any Dodtra Company product and save yourself from any hassle.

Love this collar we have a very aggressively difficult dog and our trainer suggested the arc. We have been working with her and learning to use the collar effectively. I used the shock ok my arm to see and it truly made me feel better about using it.

I researched massive.. no, more than massive amounts prior to purchasing the correct training collar for my dogs. I have one American Staffordshire and one Lab who know their basic training, but need a little encouragement . I initially purchased this to use only the vibration mode; however, after researching a ton and using the electricity on myself, I feel comfortable using both shock and vibrate on my dogs. The one thing I cannot stress enough is to make sure that your dog knows the commands you are trying to correct him/ her for prior to just giving a shock. I can't imagine how confusing that is for them. This is an amazing tool if it's used correctly. I can't imagine how confusing that is for them. This is an amazing tool if it's used correctly. It was interesting trying to find both of their " working levels" because they looked completely unbothered. The biggest reaction was a slow look in my direction at their working level. You want the shock strong enough that they notice it, but not strong enough that it hurts. The remote is nice and small so it fits comfortably in your hand. Also, if you are using the two dog system, the color coding of the buttons makes this so easy to use. My only complaint is that I wish it had a beep prior to a shock so that the dog received a warning, but I don't think that's a dealbreaker. I also wish you could lock the dial in so that you did not accidentally bump up the correction on accident. I read quite a few reviews about collars other than the Dogtra and the Educator and I was mortified to see all of the cases of dogs being burned by the prongs on other collars. Please get the Dogtra or Educator collars if you're going to use the shock modes on your dog. They are totally worth it and do not deserve to be hurt! … more

I'm very pleased with this item, and with the Chewy.com price. And the speed with which the product was shipped. I've used Chewy.com for dog food for about a year now, and I'm very impressed with the company. I think the company is exceptionally well managed.

Had set the stimulant to high and had to tone it down. Great product and my Mastiff responds well to commands with a little help. Highly recommend so far.
