If used on paws is it OK if product is licked after applied on paws..

This gel should not be swallowed, avoid contact with eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse thoroughly and consult your veterinarian. If skin irritation occurs or increases, discontinue use and consult with your veterinarian. If you believe your pet will lick their paws after application we recommend to use a medical boot to prevent this action for your pets safety.

Super product

Our veterinarian daughter recommended the Douxo S3 mousse to us, along with the Douxo Calm Serum, to aid our golden retrievers during allergy season. We have seen a marked improvement this year of them chewing at their feet. We’ve also use Douxo Chlorhexidine spray and pads. Exceptionally happy with all the Douxo products.

Didn’t work for us

I am sure this is a good product but it didn’t seem to work for us. My little terrier who has little floppy ears has some dry skin on his pinna the underside of the ear flap. And it itches him a little no infection my Vet isn't sure why or how to correct it so I thought I would try this. Chewy has a wonderful service and I talked to a Chewy Vet online and she recommended this. It may very well work for other things and other dogs just not us. I was hoping the search continues. LOL

Helped Calm Down Itch

My dog is prone to hot spots and seasonal skin allergies. I asked on the Chewy Vet helpline what would be recommended to help deal with the biting and itching on her belly. It was very helpful within 2 days she wasn’t excessively licking and biting at the area and scratching. On the fourth day she was no longer biting and the site looked much better.

Good product

My vet sent this home with my dog after examining her some skin issues near her stomach, it helped a lot. I thought is was an RX coming from a vet but learned it was over the counter and later purchased another one. Good to have on hand!
