For about a year, we've been dealing with hair loss and over-grooming on our cat's belly and inside her hind legs. Steroids made her hair grow back, but the vet also suspected a food allergy. Our cat's been on a special diet for 9 months, but early this spring, when pollen in Florida was very high, she again had hair loss in the same spots, and was licking herself a lot. She spends many hours a day in an outdoor screened porch. We think it could be itchy skin from pollen and possibly other irritants, so we decided to try the Douxo Chlorhexidine Pads. After 4 weeks of daily wipe-downs, her hair is growing back and she has "peach fuzz" in those once bare spots! Our cat hates having her claws trimmed and doesn't even like being brushed, so we anticipated a fight; but she actually seems to like the experience of the pads, which probably cool down and soothe her skin. We cannot be 100% certain that this product has solved the problem, now that pollen counts are lower, but we do know that its usage coincides with very encouraging results! The ingredients can't harm our cat and are much better than steroid treatments, so we will continue using the pads as needed and monitoring results.… more
Lifesaver if you don't have time for daily medicated baths!
on Jun 18, 2020
I bought these as per veterinarian recommendation to use in between medicated bath days. I have an adopted American Bully that came to me with a slew of issues, the biggest being his skin and coat which is ALWAYS riddled with bacteria and yeast. He developed an infection in all four of his feet and this product (along with Douxo's Chlorahexidine shampoo, Orange label) was a part of his treatment plan along with various oral medications.
These pads save me so much time when a bath and 10 minute soak in medicated shampoo just isn't possible. Easy to use, smell good and get the job done. I love this brand - it's been a lifesaver for me & my pup!
Douxo-Cleansing Pads for Dogs
on Jun 12, 2020
With all the muck, grime and trash thrown on the grown by human beings, not to mention quite a few other disgusting things laying here and there, I love that I can protect my pup by using the sanitizing wipes after each of our walks during the day. Especially when we are in public places which are left particularly filthy, not by animals, but by human beings.
Great for pugs skin folds!

I use this brand of shampoo on my pugs per my vets recommendation for skin allergies on my pugs and seen they had these wipes so I thought I'd give them a try. Pugs are known to get yeast infections in the folds on their face and we started to see the starts of an infection... this took care of it super quick without having to go to the vet.
Wow... this works!

My 14 year old Siberian Husky has cancer and skin conditions like seborrhea, which cause the skin on his sides and toward his belly to get dry/flaky, and make his hair fall out... looks terrible. It’s almost like a fungus, because his immune system is compromised.
We have used NUMEROUS treatments and this was a last resort. Him wearing a diaper due to “dribbling” after a kidney stone doesn’t help his skin, and with just a week of using this we have less irritation and some hair growth.
His hair would grow in spots, but we would have new areas of inflammation; it seemed like a losing battle. These pads are the answer to my prayers...

My little kitty was on an oral anti fungal for 2 weeks with limited success. I started using the Duoxo and saw almost immediate results. I highly recommend this product. The combination of medication and wipes is highly effective.

After reading all the reviews for this product, I decided to give it a try for my Doberman who had some hot spots occurring on his belly/legs. After just 2 uses, his belly looks SO much better and he doesn't seem to be licking like he was before. Would highly recommend this product and so easy to use!
Pug wrinkle help!
on May 19, 2020
As a pug mom, I am constantly having to tend to her wrinkle which tends to get messy. At my vet’s suggestion, I use this product and it works well. Only downside is that pugs hate their faces messed with so I have to settle for one wipe. Also need to be careful not to get in the eyes. Chewy price way better than the vet.
What my vet recommend
on Apr 14, 2020
My little girl was so itchy, she scratched her lips raw and chewed her paw hairless. We know now that she likely had a good allergy but at the time the vets wouldn't converser the thought because she was only a puppy. She was likely also dealing with yeast. They suggested these wipes so I could clean her injuries and clean up the yeast that was bothering her. It seemed to help a lot so I like to keep it on hand for when she has a relapse. Follow the directions given on the bottle or by your vet.

We have used this product on our dog's feet and between the pads to curb irritation she suffers in wet weather. Without it she chews on her feet and her feet have a bad odor. It is also effective for many other uses in keeping your pet healthy.
