Initially didnt want to order these wipes in place of the mousse this brand has because there were several reviews where customers were very dissatisfied. But with the mousse all out of stock EVERYWHERE I gave these a shot and they get the job done. Staff at the vet office said my dogs legs look much better than before starting regular treatment with the mousse and wipes. The lid can be a little annoying to get closed and I wipe several times over affected areas to get as much product as possible onto/soaking into the skin. Definitely less messy than the mousse but there is less sense of security because of how much product stays on/in the wipes themselves instead of being able to apply and massage product directly onto my dogs legs and paws.
These wipes have been amazing for managing my 18 y/o cat’s chin acne. I cut them in half and they are the perfect size. The only negative is that if you store it right side up the ones on top are rather dry and if you store it upside down then the ones at the bottom get dry. I just use some of the pump foam to solve this problem but it would be nice if they had more solution in them. Overall they work great.
These wipes were prescribed by my Labs dermatologist. I decided to get the second batch from Chewy. These wipes are easy to use and not messy. I take about ten at a time and cut them in half with a scissors so they last twice as long. And store upside down to keep top pads moist. They seem to help with itching in sensitive areas.
Two of my 10 year old maltese are very, very sensitive to any yeast/fungus spores in the lawn. Exposure causes them to lick their little feet obsessively. Massaging this on the pads & between toes after a trip outdoors works wonders to ease the irritation, itching and even the pinkish discoloration of the foot hair. Product is a bit pricey but its worth every cent to see their relief!!
I purchased this a few months ago for our doggo, and only used a few pads. I felt that there really wasn’t much product on the pads, and because of that I had to use more of them to effectively clean the area intended. Since then the product has sat with the lid tightly closed, in a dark cupboard in my kitchen. I just went to use it yesterday and the pads are dry as a bone. I can’t say as to whether or not the product works very well, as I really only got a couple uses out of it before it became entirely useless.
Our dog has lots of allergies. Often times he breaks out at his neckline or belly. We love this brand to control this. We usually use the foam but the wipes work in a pinch, like when the foam is out of stock.
Just running packing tape over the open sections of the box is NOT enough. You need to run your hand over it to press it down and ensure its adhesion to the box. In my last delivery, the delivery man set the box on its end, the tape was not secure and all the contents poured out on the ground. This is either a failure in training by the staff or incompetence by the packer. Either way you need to fix it. I'm just glad it opened itself at my home rather than in transit. Unfortunately, my cat had an adverse reaction to the wipes and his mild chin acne turned into major scabs and sores. Keep an eye on your pet to make sure that that the wipes aren't making their condition worse.
These wipes help keep my dogs wrinkles free of yeast. We use them every day! The dermatologist approves of these wipes as well.
I used these on my French bulldogs folds on his face that were getting very red. These seemed to make it even worse. When I went back to using just baby wipes it improved.
