Smelly Turf
This is such a great idea but the maker messed up by not getting a higher quality of turf. The canvas type backing holds the pee smell and is impossible to get out after a few uses. I'm going to see if I can purchase some commercial grade artificial turf with rubber backing. This is what the company should have used. The higher cost would be worth it since this stuff isn't useable.

I saw some bad feeback before I buy this stuff, such as puppys doesn't use it or doesn't like it. But to be honest, they are children and they need some trainings. For example, I will put pee-pat which was peed by my puppy so that they will follow thier smell to get used it! And we only took half day to teach and train and he is doing so well on this grass! We don't need to buy pats anymore! I really love it!

Good Product, but it depends on your dog!
The item itself is a good idea. As soon As I opened it, grass was everywhere, no big deal, turf does that. However, my dog will not use it. I had to rebuy pads because she was playing ontop of the turf & not using it as a bathroom. If your dog is used to turf or grass, I feel like this would be perfect for your pet!
Best invention ever!
I was using a piece of easy turf on my patio, but this is so much better because it catches the pee pee in a plastic pull out tray. So clean and easy. I love this !

Serves a purpose
I got this just a couple weeks ago for my dog that insists on going inside. While she has yet to use it, my human kids got this Puppy Dog Pals dog house for Christmas and immediately used this as the yard. I love the concept and design for this, and hope dog uses it when there isn't a house on it. Until then, here we are.
bad quality
The quality is not good, many pieces of fake grass will fall everywhere in the room, I am very worried about my dog to eat in the mouth.
Explaining best practices of pee turfs
I do have a pee turf for my Maltese’s, and I went with the large size. The thing about these turfs are that you need to scrub them with dawn dish soap and scrub, rinse clean, and repeat. After, 3-5 months depending how frequent the turf is used, the turf/grass piece should be replaced with a new turf/grass. The cheapest way to get a turf for whatever size pee turf you have, buy a roll of it. It saves so much money. These companies charge ridiculous amounts of money for a replacement turf, when you can just buy a roll the width you need, and get a bunch of extra length, to make multiple turfs. When I first got mine, I had the original turf, then I bought another turf, so that I could cate for it properly and avoid the complainants of other people who bought this item. These suggestions are actually with the instructions when you get your per turf, and I still see how many people complain of these simple things. If you start good cleaning habits and alternating the pee turfs every other day or every two days. Obviously you can’t expect to never replace the turf and it never end up holding that strong urine odor, it states it is recommended to throw way a turf around 3-5 months due to it having a strong smell after months of use. If you truly think about it, it still is way cheaper than those paper pee pads, pretty environmentally friendly, cuz there is so much less waste.
