Teach and reinforce your dog’s positive behavior with Downtown Pet Supply Training Dog Clickers. This big-button clicker delivers a clear, loud click to create positive reinforcement training for your dog; it also works great for training cats or even horses. Clicker training is a highly effective method of training because it precisely “marks” the behavior you want to teach using a distinct sound she doesn’t otherwise hear throughout the day. The “click” indicates she’s done well and that a reward is coming. These clickers come in a variety of fun colors and the convenient elastic band allows you to wear the clicker on your wrist so you always have it handy while training.

Click training is fun and anyone can do it!

    By on

I've never been an animal person or ever thought I'd try to train a cat... but in the spirit of helping my newly adopted cat get more active and lose weight, I thought I'd give a try. It's nice that you get two clickers, so you can have an extra one in the living room just in case the cat does something cute. Since we started training, my "lazy" and "slow" cat really came out his shell. I don't want say that my cat is a genius.. but in just 10 days he can: sit, lie down, roll over, high five, and jump in box. He is more playful, started to take more of an interest in his toys and puzzles, and more sweet with us.

    Nice, Functional Design

    By on

I can't say how many times I've gotten a clicker that's too quiet or too inconsistent for my pets to follow. This clicker fits well in the palm of your hand and has a consistent, loud, click. I've heard some people have issues with the elastic band or the key ring, but I have not yet had any issues with either. I should advise, however: I only use the elastic for short (5 to 15 min) training sessions, and have not put one on my keys due to weight concerns I assessed upon reviewing the product. I do not fault the product for this - at this price the key ring is the quality I was expecting, and I'm more than happy with the clicker itself!

    Good clicker, not durable enough

    By on

This clicker is good; it works well, and has a loud enough click. My only complaint is that the little plastic ring on the clicker body breaks too easily, so that the wrist strap can’t attach.

    Nice to have extra clickers

    By on

When training our puppy one clicker was not enough. This makes it easy to have one at hand all the time. Coil bracelet is sturdy so even when our dog grabs at it (yes, she loves the clicker!) it hasn't broken.

    Breaks soon, easily

    By on

I bought a quantity of these to give to my clients. The top part breaks readily and soon. Then you cannot put it around your wrist. Look elsewhere if this is important to you (and it is to most trainers).

    Not very loud

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

I needed some extra clickers for family members and grabbed these because they come in a multi-pack, but they are not as loud as the 2 I have from a different brand, which isn’t helpful for working in a distraction environment.

Click noise not same as old style clicker

    By on

Had I used these first in training they’d be great. But I used a different old style clicker to originally train my dog. She doesn’t like this clickers noise.

    Very "whimpy" clickers

    By on

These are not nearly loud enough! My old clicker had a sharp, metallic sound that all my dogs could hear, even if they were at the back fence. The sounds these make are quite easily ignored by my pack. Disappointed....

    AWESOME customer service!

We received our order a couple weeks ago. There was a mix up on the order. I called customer service, they immediately rectified the problem. We have had no problems with the clickers.
