Absolutely fantastic! Not only does my 2 yr male Doberman Pinscher love it, but so does my finicky long haired Chihuahua. Vegetables and everything inclusive is actually better than meals that a considerable amount of people eat these days! I whole heartedly recommend it to everyone who loves their "fur babies"! BTW I am not a person that is easily convinced, since I am a Paralegal and definitely do my "homework"!

  • Looks great! Dog Doesn't like it

I originally was so excited about this new brand, although a bit concerned about the amount of fat in it, but the price point for "raw" diet was so incredible I had to give it a try. My dog (husky) has a storage mite allergy and it has been a trial to find something he can eat that meets his allergy needs. At first, he ate this product in Beef and Turkey Flavors, for about 20 days. I ordered more, excited to have found a perfect match, and of course- he won't eat it. I was concerned it wasn't the food and tried regular dry food and other canned food (both of which he ate with no problem) He even went to the vet to double check. The Turkey seemed to go over better than the Beef for us. The Turkey seemed to go over better than the Beef for us. Sadly I am stuck with 2.5 96oz bags of it that he won't touch (but will find a home for at a shelter or rescue of course!). It comes well packaged, and I had no problems with it being thawed before arrival. The bag is well made, with a great seal- allowing a small amount to be removed and thawed at a time without compromising the food. It has small nuggets, easy to eat by small or large breed. I would just caution using as the only food source (after a nutrition consult with the vet) because of the fat intake; and also ordering too much before you know if your dog will eat it long term. Photo of his royal highness attached for cuteness. … more

  • Finally found it

Something all the dogs seem to love. Having three pups wag their tails while I prepare the meal makes me so happy. I have two very finicky eaters, or at least snooty and they all seem to be eating their food, and then of course checking each other's balls to make sure there was nothing left over. The transition has been a real pain in their hind quarters, or mine at least I wish it were easier, but I guess could wish in one hand and you know the rest... going to read order the larger sizes this time finish the transition and hopefully all will be well at mealtime at least, Happy Paws

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!

I have the pickiest chihuahua in the universe and when she finally found a food she liked, it would cause her hair to fall out. So I spoke to a coworker who told me about chewy’s return policy. I bought this, worry free and my little dog LOVES it. They send you a little chart to help your babies adjust to the new food and as long as you follow it, they shouldn’t get a stomach ache. Mine did because she devoured it like she’d never eaten anything in her life. It smells really good when you cook it too. It does come freeze dried so make sure you have enough room for it.

  • My snobby weim enjoys it

    By on

My 16 mo weim is the pickiest eater I've ever known. She was excited to have this as a topper to her kibble. The smell was appetizing and I warmed it up in the micro for her. I do agree that the seal needs to be improved to keep the food fresh. Agree with other reviewer that I keep food in my fridge only 4-5 days and she did lose interest toward end of bag when I followed guidelines to keep it up to 10 days from opening. I'd buy again and maybe split some for the freezer. She gave this flavor 4 paws up as compared to the chicken flavor she refused.

  • My pup eats this food enthusiastically

What sold me on this product are two-fold: human grade and no product from China. My pup, she's actually 11 years old :), eats this enthusiastically and I feel good about that because it is human grade food. I also serve up Stella and Chewy's kibble and SuperFood Meal toppers. My pup has been doing much better on this combination than she was on an Organic kibble and wet food blend. The reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because I'm concerned about the lack of information regarding the manufacturing process. Having human grade food is great and without that, I probably would not have tried this food. • One suggestion

    By on

My dog eats your food, no problem. However, when I first started feeding this way, when I bought fresh dog food at the grocery store the smell was so good, I was tempted to try it. My dog danced around for it, no small feat for a 100 lb dog. I'd suggest you add some sort of kitchen bouquet smell. Also, there is an organization called the Association for Truth in Pet Food. They offer a pledge manufacturers can make that every ingredient advertised on the package is actually what is in the food. You may want to look at their website and make that pledge.

  • Picky eaters, REJOICE!

    By on

I have a picky pup with a sensitive stomach. Tried so many different brands of kibble and mixing in different wet foods. He would hardly touch his food, which usually went in the garbage. Tried this out because it was a good deal, and my god, he LICKED HIS BOWL CLEAN for what must be the first time ever. He loves this stuff, and it's so incredibly easy to prepare. We defrost a quarter cup of Tylee's and mix with 3/4 cup of American Journey Grain Free. It actually smells good too, and it does not upset his stomach. I guess he just craved real food this whole time. Who would've thought? Thanks Chewy!

  • Small dogs with little or no teeth left and can't do grains or chicken

    By on

So far so good with my first bag Turkey - only thing is some aren't as fond of clumpy spinach as others - Addressing another reviewers comment I only thaw about a quart ziplock bag at a time for freshness and that has worked well for me. If seal on original packaging fails just repackage in a good large Hefty ziplock freezer bag which i have done or just package the whole bag upon receipt in quart freezer bags when it arrives which I have done also, and makes for easy thawing when needed. So far my antique Peke's etc have done well on this - but again I do combine it with another nugget refrigerated grain free food I get at PetsMart and I guess time will tell :-)

  • Lose the Cinnamon, please!

    By on

I have two dogs: one will eat anything and the other is picky. My picky eater won't touch this food, but my other dog, of course, eats it. When you open the bag, there is an overwhelming cinnamon odor--so strong that I took a small taste. Yep, all I could taste was cinnamon. I know cinnamon has benefits, but I think adding something like that to the diet should be at my discretion. PLEASE eliminate the cinnamon, Tylee's. The other thing I've noticed is that some bags contain a large amount of food that is pulverized to the point that it is powdery. So, with all of that said, it's still better than lots of other choices out there. I do not recommend for picky eaters, but it should work for "I'll I have two dogs: one will eat anything and the other is picky.
