When I made my first order with Chewy, I searched "raw dog food" on their site. Tylee's came up in the search. I feed K9Naturals now and was looking for a food that would provide another choice. There was a lack of communication during the shipping process due to the fact that I ordered Fromm in kibble form and frozen Tylee's frozen food. The orders needed to come from two completely different locations. This was NOT communicated to me and when the order arrived (it took awhile) it only contained the Fromm kibble. I was panicked and called Chewy. The person gave me the impression that I SHOULD have known and maybe I did missed something (not). When the Tylee's arrived it was fine, even though it was a frozen product, the packaging was sufficient. BUT, Tylee's is not a RAW dog food!! The following is a quote from "So Fly": I was given the opportunity to try out Tylee's dog food from Chewy.com for my dogs. Tylee's is a human grade food that comes in Pork, Chicken, Beef, or Turkey. This isn't a raw dog food, but it also isn't a kibble. Instead, it is most like a home cooked food without having to home cook it yourself. So this is a fine food and Chewy gave me as a first time orderer a 2 for 1 deal. It was misrepresented to me and shame on me for not being a more careful consumer. Why would Tylee's come up in a search for "raw dog food"? I would like for Chewy to respond to this review, but I don't have high expectations. Order #42499508. … more

  • Really good food!!!

This food looks just like the picture on the package. All 3 of my little dogs LOVE this food. I'm currently mixing it with a dry kibble. I use it like I do the canned food, just to add variety to their kibble. The ONLY reason I gave this food a 4-star rating is what the price is going to be. I was able to take advantage of the buy one - get one free special, which was AWESOME! Otherwise, I may not have tried it. Would like to see them lower their price. I'd buy it again and even try a few of the other flavors. I have one dog who is allergic to chicken and white potatoes. THAT'S been a struggle to find foods that don't have one or both of those ingredients! The ingredients in this food This food looks just like the picture on the package. • Tylee's Beef Recipe

I'm always looking for high quality dog foods because my Bichon suffers from food allergies. I couldn't say no to Chewy's BOGO offer on Tylee's. I've only been feeding her small quantities for a couple of weeks; however, Tylee's appears to be a very high quality dog food. It looks great and smells amazing. It tasted a little salty for dog food (yes, I tasted it--it's human grade food!), but she loves it and, even though it's only been a couple of weeks, she appears to be adjusting well to the food. Chewy's isn't messing around when they ship frozen dog food. The Tylee's bags were VERY carefully packaged in a cooler with dry ice. The food was still frozen when I received. • Dogs loved it

    By on

My dogs absolutely love Tylee's!!! My cat even seen very interested. Take it out of the freezer, measure out into a microwave safe bowl, pop it in the microwave for 2 minutes, stir, pour the food in the dog bowl, let cool, then serve, very simple. It smells pretty darn good too! I love being able to identify all the ingredients. My dogs have never crowded me in the kitchen like they do when I'm preparing their Tylee's. They lick the bowls clean and give me a sad look like "can I please have some more". I will definitely be buying Tylee's again.

  • One yes and one maybe

We bought the beef and pork as their kibble(now fresh grain free red meats) topper. My boy LOVES both flavors, he has a puddle of drool underneath him and whines till he get his chow. Lol My girl loved both flavors the first two times but now is VERY hit and miss. We do this as their dinner kibble topper. She prefers her Lotus canned food 95% of the time as a topper on her kibble- crazy pup! So we are a split house. But i love the quality! My boy has a VERY sensitive tummy and has had no issues at all and neither of them have had any bad side effects to their stools either. Happy to feed this new line!

  • DooDah says delicious, I say great service too!

    By on

My dog loves this food and she has been very picky in the past. She has allergies and has a very low tolerance for fatty dog foods. It's been difficult to find a food she can or would eat. This one is great! She eats every bite, enthusiastically. The food is shipped from a warehouse fairly close to us so it arrives quickly. It's easy to store and easy to feed. The nutritional value is hard to beat. We are very happy with Tylee's Beef dog food and Chewy's great service.

  • Go watch "Pet Fooled" on Netflix

After watching this documentary I become way more interested in the ingredients in what I'm feeding my best friend. I def won't be feeding my pup dry food anymore, but will def be sticking to Tylee or go for a Raw Food diet through Darwin. I would like to know where exactly the meat is coming from in this food...I understand it's USDA but is it roam free, grass fed, etc....

  • Quality food

    By on

I think this is a great food! I'm giving it 5 stars because it's a high quality food and my dog did enjoy it, however she picked out the fruits and veggies. We're just going to have to stick to foods without individual pieces, but I didn't want to take any stars away from our review just because of my dog's pickiness. I appreciate that this is human-grade food and trust Chewy to use only the best ingredients.

  • Havanese approved!!

    By on

I had been feeding my two havanese raw freeze dried food and for the most part they did well on it but I wanted to feed them a healthy raw diet because of all the health benefits. I saw that Chewy.com was selling human grade raw food for dogs and read all the info and felt that this food was worth a try and it has been gobbled up by both of my fur babies, they love the beef and turkey. I do wish there was more info online about where the food is sourced in the U.S. and the facility in which it's manufactured. I do highly recommend trying the food!

  • Wonderful meal agrees with dogs.

    By on

Wonderful dog good got it at the intro price of 1/2 off. My cocker spaniel loved it I put it in the microwave to take the chill off. Only problem is the actural cost I need three bags a month but can't afford over100.00 a month. I would recommend if cost had nothing to do with it but family food comes first.
