Changed recipe & size

I used to buy Dr Elsie's turkey in the 2 lb bags my cat loved it, but when I ordered another time I ordered two 6 lb bags of it and they were not the same as the picture on the front and they were not the same as the 2 lb bag so the last time I ordered I ordered 2 lb bags and they had changed the recipe just like the 6 lb bag it was dark it was not yellowish and they were smaller pebbles I will no longer be buying this from chewy again. I like chewy but I can't seem to get the same Dr Elsie turkey that I used to get and I don't like that they keep changing it I had to give the last few bags away because my cat will not eat it.

He likes it! He really likes it!

I was real happy with the ingredients and wanted to give it a shot. You never know with cats. I put a few pieces of the dry in with a bunch of his established dry, and tried to hide it a little so he wouldn't turn his nose up at it, and he ate it. I added a little more the next time. He ate that too! Turns out, he actually likes it! A win-win!

We found a true WINNER!!!!

Duchess begs for the Turkey Recipe. She liked the Chicken (but would leave some in the bowl) - I only give her 1/4 cup at a time (she’s a BIG girl!!); but her FAVORITE is “Turkey Clean Protein”. She eats the whole bowl in one sitting. She gets 1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup in the evening. She also gets snacks during the day.

Dr. Elsey's Clean Protein

My cats love this dry food. I feed homemade raw during the day but like to keep them busy by putting dry food in puzzle feeders overnight. I like the healthy ingredients and the kitties love the flavor, especially the rabbit.

My kids love it

I wanted the healthiest dry food option for my cats to go alongside their wet cat food and they absolutely love it! One of them is more of a picky eater so when this one is out of stock I have to go to one of their other flavors that she'll tolerate haha. Other than the fact their stock could be better it's a 5/5

great quality, timely delivery

Our cat Pan has been on Dr. Elsey's for a while now. He likes it and the quality is good so we are sticking with it. However, there seems to be a shortage of this brand of cat food, but I am glad chewy could help us. It got to my house so fast. Couldn't be happier

forced substitution

I normally order a 6 lb bag but because it was out of stock I ordered several smaller bags. It is the same product so I'm happy with that. I am looking forward to having my normal order in place again and my convenient Auto-ship reinstalled.

I Wanted to Like It

I read reviews that this was one of the best dry food options for cats because it didn't have all the filler. However this made my cats' poop extra smelly and I noticed a color change as well. Probably going to switch back to their old food while I look for something else.

I bought this food because of a review that I saw, and my two cats really like it. It is a little on the pricey side, though, but it may be worth it.
