1/5 would not buy again

Was trying to find an alternative to pretty litter because it gets everywhere and purchased this. It is AWFUL! A lot of times it doesn’t fully clump and so you just have this half wet clay along the bottom of the litter box. And I scoop daily so it’s not for a lack of cleaning. I hate to waste litter so will probably donate the rest of the bag to a local shelter.

Would not recommend

I bought this cat litter because my cats were tracking the other litter. This litter is not any better than the other litter I used. The cats still track it. I was hoping it would be better.

trying this one after my old litter was discontinued

Our old litter was discontinued. Tracking seems a bit less, but I am convinced that is not an attainable goal anyhow. I like that it clumps, has no odor, and doesn't leave a cloud of dust. The cats are using without drama.

Terrible

Turns to wet concrete after one day. Does not mask odors. Seems the only reason that it is advertised as non tracking is that the granules are much larger than other litters. Still have some tracking.

Great clumping

I have always like dr elsey cat litter. It clumps really well. Just nees to make sure there is enough litter in the box or it will stick to the bottom. As far as trackless eh, haven't found a litter that does that yet. It does have a little dust, but nothing like other litters

Better than others but far from perfect

I love that this does a pretty good job of odor elimination and clumps well most of the time. However... it seems like sometimes even scooping once a day isn't enough because there will be globs underneath the litter stuck to the litter pan that are impossible to remove with a basic scooper. I don't know what happens to it, but some of the "clumps" are more like glue. I guess maybe those were the oldest of the clumps and they get really.... stubborn? That's my one complaint because if you happen to let it go too long it's near impossible to get out.

urine cements in bottom of litter box.

This litter is awful. Yeah it has no dust, but with multiple cats the urine cements in the bottom of the little box and you have to use a lot of energy to get it out. It smells bad and in general is gross. Not sure why it get any good reviews. They might have one cat and scoop it every time they use the little box.

Not Worth the Mess or the Money

So not happy with this litter. This cat litter was highly recommended to me, so I bought it in bulk since I have four cats and like to always be prepared. To make a long story short, while I initially was quite pleased with the price, this litter is truly a joke. It's just as messy and tracks just as badly as other litters, and it doesn't clump at all. I seem to use more litter than ever before. I will say I guess I'm glad I stocked up because, if I hadn't, I would've run out of litter way before I should've/would've with a better litter. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

terrible

This is the worst litter I’ve ever used. The litter fuses itself to the bottom of the litter box and the scooper cannot scoop it out. There is dust EVERYWHERE, and it’s tracked throughout my house. We recently tried to switch from Worlds Best Cat Litter to this, but its so awful that we are just going to go back to the WBCL. It’s immensely better than this stuff.

TRIED & TRUE wins the race. Something like that.

We have tried different litters several times over the years but we ALWAYS come back to Elsey's. It's simply THE BEST and there's a reason we keep coming back. And speaking of backs, the 20lb size is great, because it's so much easier to lift an pour. THANK YOU ELSEY'S!!!! HERE'S TO ANOTHER 20 YEARS!
