Instructions
Transition Instructions

The best way to transition to a new food is to switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your cat seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.

    Little white bone pieces

By Concerned on Aug 10, 2021

Just found out all wet food is discontinued! I was using the chicken and then that was unavailable, so I switched to the rabbit and started to find a lot of tiny white bone pieces. Not sure what is going on with the company!

    My cats like this food

    By PetOwner on Jun 18, 2021 top100Contributor

My cats are willing to eat this food over time. I just have two minor quibbles on packaging: (1) The cans were not clean. Although the cans were sealed, they were covered in dried up food goop as if the manufacturer forgot to rinse the cans after sealing them (and before labeling). (2) The food inside is very dry for a "wet" cat food.

    Not going for it

    By Kemmy on Jun 2, 2021 top1000Contributor

Was really hoping my two fussy eaters would like this food…. I like the ingredients. Not happening. I keep trying to sneak a can in here and there during their “hungry” times thinking they might change their minds but nope! If your cats like rabbit…. They might go for this.

If your cats like rabbit, this is for you!

By Catmom on Jun 5, 2021

My cats can be kind of picky, but have always liked rabbit. I usually get the rabbit pate from merrick, but saw this and gave it a try. Both my cats gobble it up! And I like that the ingredients are pretty clean, considering it's not the cheapest.

Dr. Elsey's Grain-free Rabbit & Turkey Wet Cat Food

By SEPA on Jun 13, 2021

Four of my four cats eat this. Two aren't crazy about it, but do eat it. The other two really enjoy it. I'm glad I found something they will eat that helps their allergies.
