Terrible clumping litter
By Puptalks on Jan 7, 2021 Top 10 Contributor
This doesnt clump right. It also tracks the same if not more than the Cat Attract version. Ive had the same issue with both litters where the pee clumps glue to the bottom of the box and wont come out unless in pieces. Ive never had this issue using a clumping litter before. I clean every other day and i always have a big wet gluey mess. It also tracks a lot, way too much for a litter made not to track.

Tracks the same
By Riefermadnes on Dec 7, 2020
Dr Elsie's so far is the best option for us financially and the way it performs. We've been using it for years. And we've used almost everything except the crystals haven't tried that yet. This low track stuff tracks just like the rest of it. It's nothing special. They say it's 99% dust free and I have to disagree with that just from experience. But it's a hundred times better than most other brands. Not sure why they don't get the dust thing under control. It might be 90% dust free when you buy it. But it seems to increase during use. It's not even close to dust free. But it out performs scoop away by a long shot.

Better than Ultra of tracking, but not really clumping
By Summer on Jan 3, 2021
I used the ultra version which is the blue pack. I know most people love Dr. Elsey's but somehow it tracks a lot, so I decided to switch to this version. And purple version works really great for tracking, but it doesn't clump well. There are always have some tiny pieces that fall down when I scoop out the mess.

Dr. Elseys Cat Litter
By AnimalPlanet on Dec 27, 2020
I've been using this product for a long time. It doesn't have a great scent but my cats really prefer it. I learned the hard way after switching litter to something that smelled better. My male cat hated the other brands and started peeing on our expensive ottoman. We ended up switching back to this product.

Tracks everywhere
By Joanne on Jan 20, 2021
I bought this litter because of the name (“low tracks”) and also the fact it states it tracks less than other litters. However it tracks the same amount. I am disappointed as I was hoping to see a difference.

Great Product!
By Stormy on Jan 5, 2021
I have been using Dr. Elsey's Multi-Cat Unscented Clumping Clay Cat Litter for over 2 years now and I love it. I tried many, many other brands and types and nothing worked as well as this one!

My kids LOVE this
By ZCatMom on Oct 31, 2020
My girls is uber picky about her kitty potty. It took me quite some time to find the right litter for her. My boys had no issues. I tried Dr Elsey's at someone's suggestion. Immediate difference. Prior to Dr Elsey's she would poop on the floor after just 2 days with a freshly cleaned box, and scooping. No issues now. My boys would even use her box over their 2 until I completely switched.

Doesn't Clump Well
By nikkikix18 on Sep 28, 2020
Clump: here's where the problem lies. When the cat pees, the litter doesn't clump quick enough so the urine is able to reach the bottoms and/or sides of the litter box. Then it sticks and creates almost an adhesive to the box. When you try to remove the pee clump, you literally have to saw the clump off because it's stuck to the sides & bottom (I don't use liners). If you're lucky to get it out in one piece, that's a good day. Mostly, the urine clumps will come out in tiny pieces, slowly getting smaller & smaller until it's not able to be picked up by your scoop, so you wait until the litter box is dirty enough will all these little clumps before changing the entire litter. It's a mess and so not worth it. Tracking: as with all litter, they pretty much track slightly depending on how your cat exits the litter box & what kind of box & mats you have. This is no different than other clumping litters I've tried, although maybe slightly better than the blue crystal gel litter (which gets everywhere). Smell: covers smell well, but only if your cat covers. If it's partially covered or not covered at all, the smell will carry. Dust: more dusty than other dust-free litters. If you're trying to stick to Dr. Elsey, I recommend another litter. This one makes me cough. Final thoughts: I recommend Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Ultra Unscented Clumping Clay Cat Litter (blue packaging). Combine this with a top entry litterbox and a good mat for the excess and there is barely any cleanup on a daily basis. I have 2 cats & one box & I clean it twice a day with minimal sweeping. … more

Adequate Litter
By Samantha on Jan 2, 2021
This litter was good, but did not stick to its name. My cats still tracked it outside their litter boxes.
