Terrific Litter
By HCNYC on Feb 8, 2021
Was excited to try a different variety of Dr. Elsey's litter, especially this one. The only dust is when you first pour it into the litterbox, after that, truly no dust. The clumping is extraordinary, very solid clumping and easy to take out of the litter box. I wipe down the walls after with baby wipes to keep it nice looking and nice smelling. My cat seems much happier with this brand than the one we've used for a few years now (with the word Best in the name...), not going back to that one. This one is the best.

Formula Change?
By Kate on Feb 25, 2021
The formula must have changed which is so so disappointing. We used to LOVE this litter especially for our cat with Asthma. It used to work great but now the clumping has changed and it turns to concrete and is so hard to remove from the litter pan. It gets really sticky and heavy and is one of the worst clumping litters we have used. Such a bummer. It used to be great.

Breathable
By KityyLitter on Feb 25, 2021
Excellent product. If you and/or your cat have respiratory issues, such as asthma or allergies, this is a great product. It's a great product even if you don't - Why have all that dust stuck in your lungs from other product lines. Yucky!

I agree new formula not so great
By Sunny on Feb 7, 2021
I might as well buy a less expensive litter now. I have used this brand for 3 years and with the new shipment I noticed it is much dustier and the particles are much smaller. The litter doesn't clump as well. It is very obvious to see when i added it into the older litter.

Great for my cat with Asthma.
By Jenny on Feb 17, 2021
Oliver can rest easy with this kitty litter. The dusty cat litters tried in the past turned out to be his asthma trigger. He likes to spend time arranging his litter box and can do so with Dr Elsey's Respitory Relief.

NO DUST! good clump
By KatWomanUSA on Dec 10, 2020
I was always skeptical about trying expensive litter types & wondered how the cats would react to changes. Many years we had large multicat household with outdoor privileges & most preferred outdoors. Now we are down to 4 geriatric kitties, after bad flea infestation all of them became indoor cats. My hubby who cleans the litter was diagnosed with COPD and I was happy to see the NO DUST type available. It's what it promises. Low dust. Humans sneezing down (in closed house with AC on most the year) This litter is clay and does CLUMP HARD- So you throw out a lot on each scoop BUT the good thing about that is that the pans do not hold to the urine smell after you clean them. So far the ONLY litter I was always skeptical about trying expensive litter types & wondered how the cats would react to changes. I did try the Cat Attract for one female who poops over the edge of the box & she went inside it for the 1st time. … more

Great Litter
By Sasha on Feb 1, 2021
This litter is really dust free!!! I have bought other litters claiming to be dust free but I was always disappointed. My cat has allergies and this litter does not aggravate them as the other litters did. I highly recommend it.

new and improved is not an improvement
By gigi on Jan 16, 2021
It makes me so sad that they changed this litter, and I see that others feel the same. I used it for three years for my asthmatic cat, and it was great. Worked very well at not disturbing his asthma, and also controlled odors and clumped well. Enter the new and improved formula. First, as many have said, it does not clump well and the new particle size is awful. Second, it seems dustier, which is a major fail given the products marketing. And third, it does NOT control odor nearly as well. I'm so disappointed! I hope they bring back the old formula.

Great product
By Works on Jan 9, 2021
We've been using this for about 2 months - it's great! There is no litter dust at all. Clumps really well. Having indoor cats for over 15 years, we've used over a dozen types of litter. Arm & Hammer clumped really well, but later in years it became more dusty. This product is great!

Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Respiratory Relief Litter
By Marsha on Jan 10, 2021
I have been buying this PCRR cat litter for years and years. However, the "New Improved Particle Size" is horrible. It's sharp and jagged and difficult to sift. As a result, I end up removing more litter than I need to, which means I'm going through it faster. That's great for Dr. Elsey but bad for the consumer. It has to feel sharp on my cat's pads as well. The once perfect litter, just turned into a nightmare, and I will likely look for another brand. Dr. Elsey - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
