    Disappointed in Packaging Change

By Lennie on Sep 28, 2021

I am very pleased with the litter but quite displeased with the new bags. The boxes were easier to handle and store. The minor spillage of litter in shipping was not an issue. Tons of fine dust.

I could feel that the tell-tale fine dust was all throughout my apartment and my asthma was acting up. Even now, over 13 hours since pouring it I'm still feeling it in the air and on surfaces. I have a hooded litterbox, and I have it turned so that the AC doesn't blow into it. The dust must be fine enough that just my cat using the litter kicks it up into the air and on her fur and into my mouth and lungs. There's a waxy kind of feeling to the dust if you run your fingers along the inside of the bag.. Another reviewer said they contacted the manufacturer and apparently there were still boxes/bags of a reformulation that they discontinued due to customer complaint. That reviewer got another box and had the same issue again. I'm definitely not willing to try another box to see if the mythical original formula is in it or not. I hope others have better luck with this litter. I'm going back to Tidy Cat's Free and Clean. I got a weirdly dusty bad box of it last time, but usually it's better than this mess. … more
