Many years we had large multicat household with outdoor privileges & most preferred outdoors. Now we are down to 4 geriatric kitties, after bad flea infestation all of them became indoor cats. My hubby who cleans the litter was diagnosed with COPD and I was happy to see the NO DUST type available. It's what it promises. Low dust. Humans sneezing down (in closed house with AC on most the year) This litter is clay and does CLUMP HARD- So you throw out a lot on each scoop BUT the good thing about that is that the pans do not hold to the urine smell after you clean them. So far the ONLY litter we've used that does not not hold urine scent.(we've tried every store brand) Cat poop still stinks no matter what (LOL). I did try the Cat Attract for one female who poops over the edge of the box & she went inside it for the 1st time. … more

I have been buying this PCRR cat litter for years and years. However, the "New Improved Particle Size" is horrible. It's sharp and jagged and difficult to sift. As a result, I end up removing more litter than I need to, which means I'm going through it faster. That's great for Dr. Elsey but bad for I have been buying this PCRR cat litter for years and years. That's great for Dr. Elsey but bad for the consumer. It has to feel sharp on my cat's pads as well. The once perfect litter, just turned into a nightmare, and I will likely look for another brand. Dust Free:
By MaxandPoncho on Jan 12, 2021
I have been looking for a dust free litter for years. Some many say 99% dust free. I am not sure 99% from what! This product really is dust free.

A very good product has gone to POT
By CatLady on Jan 11, 2021
I began using this particular litter a number of years ago after it was recommended by my vet at the time; a couple of my cats had respiratory problems as I did myself. We all were quite happy with the product until the last couple of months. It has become very dusty and has lent a "dusty" odor throughout my house. For my health as well as that of my kitties, I really need to find a different litter. I cannot recommend this one to any one else at this time.

Great product
By Nice on Jan 9, 2021
We've been using this for about 2 months - it's great! There is no litter dust at all. Clumps really well. Having indoor cats for over 15 years, we've used over a dozen types of litter. Arm & Hammer clumped really well, but later in years it became more dusty. This product is great!

It works for me!
By Good on Jan 7, 2021
One of my cats had tears, tear stains and eye crust and I was not sure what was causing it. I changed his food to venison and his litter to this one and something is working for him, it could be a combo of both. It clumps, I have no complaints!

Not 99% dust free
By Zeek on Jan 6, 2021
Been using for years and now seems to have a lot dust in it, got 4 boxes recently that was brown litter in it rather than the gray and had no dust but the next 4 boxes were back to the dusty gray, very disappointed in this product anymore. Bathroom is covered in dust

New and improved, NOT good
By M123 on Jan 2, 2021
I have been using this litter for years. The new and improved version is awful. Will not clump.

Very dusty when scooping.
By notagain on Jan 1, 2021
I have COPD and my 1st time using this I needed my inhaler, then an updraft. So if you have any respiratory issues or your cat does I would suggest finding something better. Both boxes I got, I needed to wear a mask.

Dust free...this time
By Shelbie on Dec 28, 2020
I had been using the Dr. Elsey's Ultra litter for awhile until it suddenly turned INCREDIBLY dusty (the worst I've ever encountered), so I gave the Respiratory Relief a shot. There's almost no dust to speak of and clumps really well. However, I'm leery since other recent reviews say this is extremely dusty, which makes me wonder if I received a box of old formula vs. the new (as the Ultra had abruptly changed, it's possible the Respiratory Relief had also changed but I received an old-formula box). My only real issue is this is an expensive box of litter -- my cat loves digging to china, so I usually end up using all 15 lbs in a month.

Allergy litter
By Marla on Dec 26, 2020
If you and your pet both have asthma, this is a solid choice. There are better natural alternatives, but with our lives clay based litter is easier and this product is easier on my cats breathing. Its strong enough for my one cat but baking soda might be needed.
