This was recommended by my vet. It’s the best stuff ever. My gsd suffers all year long with allergies and yeast. He hates the stuff but I manage to squeeze it on a triple size cotton ball and let it sit in his ear for a minute. Takes a few tries but well worth it. Wipe it out as needed. It softens up the gunk and takes the odor away.
I use this ear cleanser especially at his grooming appointments. Come to find out the reason for getting ear infections was that they use the same bottle on all the dogs so they are passing the bugs too. No more one hundred vet bills for me and my baby dog doesn’t have to suffer.
This is a must to keep on hand. It's one of the best, if not the best for my dog's ear issues. It clears up his dermatitis faster than any other product and costs less than the other ear product that's usually recommended. But, I recommend this one.
I have used this for years to treat and prevent fungal infections and mites by keeping a clean environment in my cats ears. This product keeps my pets healthy.
Unfortunately i found the directions for this medicine very hard to follow for my cat! Id i had known the detailed instructions ahead of time i would NOT have purchased it! VERY difficult to administer! And i havent seen any improvement in my cat!!
Worked very well for my dog. She had a bunch of smelly black stuff in her ear that was causing bad itching. I got this stuff literally the next day and it cleared her ear up in no time. She was already not scratching her ear so bad a couple of hours after giving it to her. I would definitely recommend people try this for their animals.
This product is amazing, my dog had a real bad yeast infection and this cleared it up in about a week. Definitely worth buying !
My dog has had issues with yeasty ears. I’ve been trying to maintain them with cleaning them out and investing why. Every time I would rub his ears he would wine. I put in the ear meds and was able to wipe them out without him being in pain. I highly recommend this product.
Ever since we got our basset hound at 8 weeks old she has had chronic ear infections. As soon as she gets off antibiotics the infections would come right back. I decided to give this a try and after using it for 2 days her ears were no longer red, swollen or smelled like blue cheese. She doesn't scratch as them much. I'm so glad she finally has some relief.
I'm surprised there aren't more reviews on this stuff. I actually was coming here to copy the link to refer the product to someone on FB, and noticed fewer than 200 reviews, so decided to add a review! I keep this stuff on hand like I keep dog food and treats on hand. When on sale I buy several. My labrador started to have chronic ear infections, like super nasty stuff. After the 3rd ear infection in under a year, I started searching Chewy for something I could use in her ears generously and as often as needed. This product made all the right claims so I tried it and it COMPLETELY resolved her ear problems. This was SEVERAL years ago, and I still use this today. I am not as diligent with it as I used to be, I might use it once every few months now. Her ears are healthy. Zero issues. When my mom's little Havanese pup was having repeated ear infections that were basically never resolving, I gave her a bottle. She said it was like a miracle. So this works on my large yellow lab, and also on her tiny Havanese (who are even more ear-issue-prone than labs). Note to first-time users: This ear solution is brownish-orange, that is its normal color. I fill up my dog's ear canal, rub it in good from the entry point all the way down to under her jaw (that is how far the ear canal goes), then let her shake her head, then wipe the ear canal clean with cotton or a soft cloth. Then repeat once, for regular maintenance. If it's a nasty ear, I repeat until the cotton is clean and use cotton swabs to get into the crevices if need be. I would rate this 10 stars if I could.
