Preparing a homemade meal for your dog takes just minutes a day and its really easy to do.
Step 1 - Add Oracle to your dogs bowl. Shake the bag to distribute food evenly. Measure the appropriate amount of dry food (see feeding chart on bag) and add it to your dogs bowl. Feeding amounts are only general guidelines. Individual requirements will vary depending upon factors such as metabolism, daily activity, breed, health, genetics, and environment.
Step 2 - Add hot water to Oracle. Measure the appropriate amount of hot water (see feeding chart on bag) and add it to the dry food. Let sit for 10 - 15 minutes or until the food has absorbed the water and has the consistency of oatmeal. You can add more or less water to change the consistency depending on your dogs preference.
Step 3 - Watch a happy and healthy dog eat. Serve at room temperature. Always make sure your companion dog has fresh, clean water to drink.
The following amounts are only general guidelines. Individual requirements will vary depending upon factors such as metabolism, daily activity, breed, health, genetics, and environment. You are the one that actually knows your dog, so you are in the best position to fine tune this general guideline. Part of healthy feeding is monitoring your pups weight. If your dog is too thin, feed more than the suggested amount. If your dog is overweight, feed less. When in doubt, remember that its better to feed a little less than to overfeed your companion dog.

My dogs hated this
By Kiko on Mar 25, 2020
I have two dogs. One 5lb senior chihuahua, a very picky eater, and a 10lb Pug/Chihuahua, that will eat anything. They are used to homemade and fairly recently, since my two larger dogs died, Stella and Chewy's freeze dried dinner patties. Started them on that because I could afford it due to their size. Of course they LOVE it. I decided to switch it up a bit and maybe save a few $. Well, that was a mistake. They Hate this food! It looks as though there are a lot of dehydrated veggies in large pieces. I tried to grind it up fine to hide them, but that didn't fool them. Don't know what it is about it, but to the food bank it goes!

My Pups Love It
By Felicia on Nov 24, 2019
I have been getting Dr Harvey’s Paradigm for my diabetic dog for about 5 months and even the vet commented on how good she looks now. One of my little dogs doesn’t tolerate one of the spices in Paradigm though, she has reverse sneezes after eating it. I know how healthy Dr. Harvey’s is so I thought I would try Oracle for my non-diabetic pups. They love it and there are no crazy sneezing attacks after eating. I am waiting to see results in coat health and also hoping one of my littles will loose some weight on this diet.

Mixes with water becomes too dense to eat
By PeekABoo on May 4, 2019
My dog refused to eat this food. When mixed with water according to directions, the food became too dense and my dog would not eat it. More water didn’t help, adding it to customary food didn’t work either.

Potatoes are not beneficial for dogs. Cheap filler.

My BC Loves it!
By wlk4fun on Feb 9, 2019
I am shocked that my dog, 8, love this food! She can't wait for me to mix it up for her every morning, and is disappointed if I try to give her "regular" dog food.

Not for me
By Chris on Dec 26, 2018
My dog is very finicky and wouldn't touch it. This brand seemed to have very few larger chunks of meat. Once the water was mixed it sort of turned to mush. Other dogs may love it but mine did not.

Honest ingredients
By harmonypap on Sep 9, 2018
I bought this for an elderly Papillon, but she wouldn't eat it because some of the pieces are fairly large. My other dogs will eat it though so I'll use it up. I use it as a part of their topping for their dry kibble. It caused no tummy or stool problems and is certainly very easy to mix and serve. Just not for us.

Dr. Harvey’s Oracle Grain-Free, Freeze-Dried Dog food
By Ricochet on Sep 15, 2018
My beagle loves this food. It keeps him satisfied, so that begging has decreased. Now my elderly mom doesn’t get those “sad eyed” looks guilting her to over-feed him. Finally some weight loss success!
