Feeding Instructions

Preparing a homemade meal for your dog takes just minutes a day and it’s really easy to do.

  • Step 1 – Add Oracle to your dog’s bowl. Shake the bag to distribute food evenly. Measure the appropriate amount of dry food (see feeding chart on bag) and add it to your dog’s bowl. Feeding amounts are only general guidelines. Individual requirements will vary depending upon factors such as metabolism, daily activity, breed, health, genetics, and environment.

  • Step 2 – Add hot water to Oracle. Measure the appropriate amount of hot water (see feeding chart on bag) and add it to the dry food. Let sit for 10-15 minutes or until the food has absorbed the water and has the consistency of oatmeal. You can add more or less water to change the consistency depending on your dog’s preference.

  • Step 3 – Watch a happy and healthy dog eat. Serve at room temperature. Always make sure your companion dog has fresh, clean water to drink.

Bought to use as training treats but there are not any pieces big enough, it's all powder. That being said I mixed it with water and they ate it just fine.

I am the food guru for a large sheltie Facebook group. This year I was asked to review not just dry but raw for the best quality brands and formulas to support the sheltie predisposition to pancreatitis and gallbladder disease. Now mind you, my dogs have been on seriously high quality kibble, not junk, but I always thought of raw as a bit of a fad until now. I first tried another raw but it was raw dehydrated and that is not quite as good as freeze dried raw. The dogs did OK but not amazingly. After re-reading extensively through Dr. Jean Dodds' book on canine nutrition, I could see that the Dr. Harvey's recipes and supplements closely align with Dr. Dodds' information about what dogs truly need I am the food guru for a large sheltie Facebook group. After re-reading extensively through Dr. Jean Dodds' book on canine nutrition, I could see that the Dr. Harvey's recipes and supplements closely align with Dr. Dodds' information about what dogs truly need. In addition, this brand is one recommended by the reviews . com people who are very very thorough and recommend only the best. Thus, I gave it a try. My older sheltie has had youth reborn, not in a nutso high energy way but in a feel-good kind of way. MY 2 year old sheltie has always been constipated with every food I have fed. Within mere days he now makes the largest, firmest, non-strained poo. I know, but with dogs, poo matters. His always coarse coat is softening, and he is clearly happier and more comfortable. I am really impressed with these grain-free Oracle formulas. It's pricey, but hey, the dogs are members of the family and food is extremely important to how long they will feel good and be healthy. What do I like? American locally sourced ingredients, no recalls to date, supplements that are actually what the dogs need, vegetables and fruits that bring nutritional value, quality meat, a reputable company with excellent customer service and transparency. This one's good. … more

Although the Dr. Harvey did not agree with my dogs Chewy's is by far the best on-line company. Your customer service is the best I have ever had. Thank you.
