Feeding Instructions

Preparing a homemade meal for your dog takes just minutes a day and it’s really easy to do.

  • Step 1 - Add Oracle to your dog’s bowl. Shake the bag to distribute food evenly. Measure the appropriate amount of dry food (see feeding chart on bag) and add it to your dog’s bowl. Feeding amounts are only general guidelines. Individual requirements will vary depending upon factors such as metabolism, daily activity, breed, health, genetics, and environment.

  • Step 2 - Add hot water to Oracle. Measure the appropriate amount of hot water (see feeding chart on bag) and add it to the dry food. Let sit for 10 - 15 minutes or until the food has absorbed the water and has the consistency of oatmeal. You can add more or less water to change the consistency depending on your dog’s preference.

  • Step 3 - Watch a happy and healthy dog eat. Serve at room temperature. Always make sure your companion dog has fresh, clean water to drink.

  • They Like It

We are still transitioning over to Oracle. We are up to about 50% of old and new, but the Pack is excited about the new aroma and taste of this. Good stuff so far.

  • Dog loves it.

I have a 5 year old German Shepherd, and I use this as a mixer, to add flavor and moisture to her dry food. She seems to enjoy it, always eating her entire bowl.

  • Chicken Variety

    By on

The only reason that I am giving this product 4 stars is due to the formula flavour, other than that both of my pets LOVE the Dr. Harvey's brand. The Chicken Formula is just not working for either of my pups.

  • Not enough protein

    By on

My dog, who is 3 lbs. likes this food, but he poops 3 times the amount he did on Orijen, i am not sure why maybe to many other things in the food...so back to Orijen Tundra freeze dried..he just does so much better on this food, It is just so expensive even for a 3 lb. dog. We are back to 2 poops a day instead of 5.

  • why no calcium - phosphorous ?

    By on

For growing puppies to get good bone development, there is a definite need for a 2 -1 calcium to phosphorous ratio I can't determine from the labeling that there is. Same thing for Dr. Harvey's Pediatric supplement, which I also purchased. What am I missing thanks, tomG

  • Great food, but pricey!

    By on

It is so easy to use but a bit to pricey for everyday when you are feeding two 60lb dogs. I use it only when we board our dogs at the kennel to make it easy for the help. They just have to add HOT water and wait 10 min. My dogs love the chicken which is all I have tried so far. I would recommend this product for very small dogs or occasional feeding for larger ones. If the price does not scare you go for it!
