  • Helps Heal

    By on

Even though it's called healing "cream", it's more of a healing balm, and heal it does! I need to warm it up a little in my hands before applying it (it will turn liquidy like coconut oil), but it has helped soothe sunburn, bug bites, scrapes, scratches, and moisturize dry cracked paw pads and noses. We've tried MANY lotions and balms in the past. This is the first one that's made of natural, high quality ingredients that we like. I took off one star because it seems like a very high price for the amount of product you get.

  • Works wonders

I bought this to help heal my senior dogs’ abscess along with a spray wound bottle. Within a week it healed up her abscess. Wound closed up, no more puss. Lump is still there but vet told us it will heal in that manner. Overall very happy and will keep in mind for future injuries (hoping none in the future but never know)

  • Healing cream

Tried this on my cat's neck. He had been scratching so much there was a very raw spot. He is NOT a cat you can apply any medication to and so it was not easy getting him to let me put it on him. I liked the scent but Max could smell it as soon as I came into the room. I did manage to apply it a few times and the area completely cleared up. I would have given it a 5 rating except for the consistency of the cream. It was on the "hard" side and did not spread very easy. On a cat like Max having a softer, creamier consistency would have been better.

  • Seems to Soothe

    By on

My cat has skin allergies and while this cream doesn't seem to heal her wounds, it does appear to soothe her itching and biting. She does not like the taste of it apparently as she won't lick it off like other products I have used in the past. The scent is quite pleasant to this human though.

  • Good Results

My Golden Doodle had a cut on her leg that just wouldn't completely heal. I was a little skeptical about ordering Dr. Harvey's but I figured I'd give it a try, and I'm so glad that I did! It really worked wonders in just a few days. Thank you.

  • THIS GROWS FUNGUS AND MOLD

    By on

I never even got to use this product, and I got it twice! The first time I ordered this, I opened it up the very same day I got it in the mail and what I saw was pretty shocking. There was fungus/mold all over it and it had completely consumed the top surface to the point where you couldn’t see the actual cream at all. You could tell it had been growing for a little while because it was a couple centimeters high. Plus the smell was just not good. The expiration date was months away, not even in the same year. But for some reason, this still happened. So I told Chewy about it, they sent me a new one. This one was fine, great! So when it finally became time to use it which was about 3months after I never even got to use this product, and I got it twice! So when it finally became time to use it which was about 3months after receiving it, what do you know!? Same thing happened. And the expiration date of this one was even further away than the first jar I got. Like come on, this is just ridiculous. Organic stuff isn’t cheap. And I know natural/organic products are prone to this sort of thing because they don’t contain those chemicals that help make the product last longer like a lot of other products contain. Which is totally fine with me, but not when it is well before the expiration date and it happens twice in a row from 2 completely different batches. That’s just unacceptable. … more

  • works very well

i had doubts that it would stay on long enough to work, but it did. still some licking but not like other products. it only took a couple of days to heal the cuts and scratches on his snout and paw. i recommend using gloves to apply so cream wont mold on you.

  • Seemed to help sooth skin

    By on

This seemed to help soothe Clover’s skin after the groomer cut her too short. I suggest rubbing the product between your hands to soften it before applying it to your pet. Otherwise, it is hard to apply.

  • Strong smell

    By on

My baby has bad skin issues and has all her life. I was hoping this organic cream could help. Unfortunately I am unable to see if it works because the smell is so strong she won't let me get near her. I won't recommend if your dog runs when they see the jar.

  • Helpful Healing

We have a 9 yr. old Border Collie Mix with serious OCD, she has one particular spot on her leg that she licks and chews down to the bone, we used Dr. Harvey's and unfortunately it must taste good because she ate it too so we bandaged, Dr. Harvey's helped heal the area and hair is starting to grow back.
