  • They are ok.

Both my dogs are used to Greenies but they are pricey so I tried these in hopes that they would love them just as much bcs they werent as expensive. No such luck. They will eat them and sometimes cant be bothered. They Neverrrr do that with most other treats. I probably wont buy them again but hopefully other dogs will like them. I have a Yorkie and hes pretty picky anyway.

  • My 3 pups love them

My finicky shihtzus really love them. I bought because they are USA, healthy, natural with no fillers like greenies. I had a bad greenies experience in 2007 when my dog was choking for 4hrs after a greenie, these Dr Lyons are a much better formula and I feel comfortable letting them eat, where i would never ever trust greenies agsin.

  • Dr Lyons dental treats

Price was very reasonable. Problem was, my miniature wiener dog, who is extremely overweight from eating everything and anything and loving it, will not even put these in her mouth. I was shocked as she loves Greenies and other dental treats. It may be the mint flavoring, I don't know for sure. I even tried putting peanut butter on them, she licked it off and left the chew. Sorry Dr Lyon, I wish she liked them.

  • My dog wouldnt touch them!

    By on

I handed him one he took it very gently & just laid it on the floor. Then he walked away. I even put one on his food tray & it just sits there untouched! I just made some bags up of these things to give to some dogs I know. One thing I would like to know is wth are they made from. It’s not a type dog cookie more like a plastic raw hide type shaped bone.

  • Dr. Lyon’s Dental Treats

I bought small breed because our six pound Toy Poodle doesn’t like treats that are large. Our 13 pound Cockapoo will eat most any size! We like to give them treats that are supposed to help keep their teeth clean, so these are just great and they love them.

  • Minty Fresh

    By on

Our dog loved these, and unlike some of the others we've tried, actually leaves her mouth smelling minty-fresh! She may not be the greatest judge of taste as she has never refused anything edible, but she does treat these as something special, running around the house with it before she eats it.

  • Peppermint - not a fan

    By on

These are great quality, no doubt. But my dogs don't like mint flavors, so these are not their favorites. The size is perfect though (I have Shih Tzus), so when they do take them they chew it up and there aren't 'leftovers' laying all over the place.

  • X-Small chewy bones

    By on

My 6 pounder loves the dental bones. We play a game. I sing 'Knick Knack Paddy Whack. Give the dog a bone' and he stands on his hind legs to reach it. Then we play a game of 'fetch' where I snatch it and throw it for him.

  • my dog loves it but smells weird to me

    By on

My 14 lb bichon mix dog seems to love these (she likes greenies too but I was looking for a different ingredient list) but when I opened the package it smelled strongly of chemicals to me. I left the bag open for 24 hours and the smell mostly dissipated. Still makes me wary but the ingredients seem good to me and the size of the chews are just right for her.

  • Pup Approved!

I have a four month old teacup Chihuahua and he absolutely loves these dental treats. I give him one a day and he just chews away. Now when I go to the bag he gets really excited and since Chihuahua's are known to have canine periodontitis this treat is perfect because it makes brushing his teeth a breeze. :)
