The Dental Dog Treats are flexible and chewy, depending on the size of dog and dogs motivation of chewing it will either break into hard chunks or get softer with chewing.
What is the texture of these like?

The texture is firm but chewy. It is intended to clean your dog’s teeth by a mechanical abrasion effect when your dog’s teeth penetrate the treat.

Best Natural Out There

Tried the Blue Buffalo ones but felt like my dogs breath stunk worse with those. Switched over to these and not only does my pup love them but her breath smells a whole lot better. I like how there is a nice balance of mint to other flavor ratio. And we have seen an improvement to her teeth staining as these dont have coloring to it. Much better and wish Chewy would restock these soon, we're almost out.

Tried and true!

My two dogs are the pickiest eaters EVER!! In fact, I have yet to find a dry dog food that they will eat. :(. Even canned varieties have failed to meet their approval. However.... They jump for Dr. Lyons dental bones!! It truly blows my mind how much they love these!! And they never tire of them! Big fans for 3 years now!! And going strong!

They Are Too Small

My dog is only 40lbs and she can eat this in 2 bites. She likes it but it’s way too small for her to actually chew on. So it doesn’t work as a dental chew for us.

A dog treat a day keeps the bad breath away...

Mocha loves his Dr Lyon’s dental treats! We give him one every morning as a breakfast after his first morning walk and it’s been a godsend since his breath no longer smells like he’s been licking his butt all day (even though he actually is)... Give them a try if you want your pup’s breath to be minty fresh!

My dog loves them

We fed her Greenies and I didn’t like the ingredients. I found these, loved the fact that they are grain free, and my dog Bella loves them! She’s 2 and has the whitest teeth!!

Great price and good quality

Well they started off fine but

I had been giving my dogs the Pegetabkes dental treats but their price kept going up....I tried greenies and they liked them too. Dr.Lyons were better priced so tried them. They seemed to like them at the start but not quite finished the 1st bag and they aren't so excited about getting them. Back to .....something!

It's a must have morning treat

I'm not saying I SPOIL my dog at all but others might say I do! My guy gets one of these every morning as part of his morning treat along with his Dr. Lyons joint supplement. To say he looks forward to them is an understatement. On the weekends when my husband is trying to sleep in, he has a bit of a fit because they are kept in a drawer in the bedroom and he WANTS his morning treats. I buy them in all the sizes when they are on sale and hide them in different spots in the house. This also makes him very happy because when he finds the new hiding spot, he knows he can get a treat in that room too. I highly recommend these grain-free treats.
