  • Great, high quality probiotic for our dogs.

    By on Top 250 Contributor

This probiotic is highly digestible when sprinkled on our dogs food. Prefer knowing what is actually in a product that I use and the list of all the organisms are there individually, not lumped together under an ambiguous listing. The scoop is fairly large, with two large dogs (3 and 4 scoops respectively) I went through the jar in two weeks which I did not expect. I also read after the fact, that it is best to offer this probiotic with the Digestive Enzymes in order for the dogs to gain the most nutrients from their food and probiotics.

  • Fantastic product

I have an eight year old Yorkie with a sensitive stomach. He eats moist and fresh dog food, small meals three times daily. Prior to adding this probiotic he would occasionally throw up yellow bile. Since adding it he has not thrown up in over a year. I add a half of scoop every morning for maintenance. Great price on chewy and it arrives in 2 days. Just started auto renewal. Thx!

  • Cats hate it, no impact on kitty intestinal issues

    By on

My cats absolutely hate this. I put maybe 1/4 of a dose on dry food or mix it up in wet food and they refuse to eat it completely. I've also seen no improvement in either cat's bowel movements. (One struggles with mild constipation and the other has IBD).

  • Best results for dog with IBD

    By on

Mercola complete probiotics is the blend that works best for our dog who has severe IBD and has been taking prednisone for more than four out of her five years of life. The Internal Medicine vet recommended that we switch to this brand, and that we give full dose twice daily, since the medicines destroy beneficial flora in The digestive tract. It has made a big difference for this dog. Prior to switching to Mercola, I could not vary her diet at all without it causing inflammation and diarrhea and bleeding. Now, I still have to cook for her, but can rotate her diet so that she gets a variety of flavors and nutrition without an IBD flareup. She's much happier now at mealtime!

  • Can't work if you can't get it in them

    By on

Neither my cat nor my dog will eat food if this is in it. It doesn't smell anywhere near as bad as the digestive enzymes Dr. Mercola makes but still pretty awful.

  • Everyday additive

    By on

I like Mercola products. I recommend this to buy and give to your dog every day to put the good bacteria in their gut, aid digestion and increase immunity.

  • Good product

    By on

I very much liked this product. I have two pets with frequent stomach issues. I just mix it into their food. It seemed to help quite a bit. Only thing I don't like is that the container is very deceiving. I used this up fast. The container is only about 1/3 full when I received. Now I am trying a less expensive brand that also seems to work well and has a large blend of Probiotics and Prebiotics.

  • Great Product

This is an excellent probiotic. However, with 4 dogs, it only lasts 2 weeks. Really hope they come out with a larger container.

  • Feeling jipped

    By on

I haven't seen much of a difference within my dogs but then again it has been the 1st container that I have used. I feel jipped due to the container wasn't full of the product like the enzymes were and only lasted me about 2 weeks for 2 dogs. Not pleased with the amount and how long it lasted. To fix this issue would be to make sure that the container is filled with the product.

We're working to build up our Maya's immune system. A good probiotic was recommended. She's a finicky eater, however has no objection to this additive. We'll see how it goes, but so far, we're pleased that she will at least get the supplement into her system with no struggle on our part!
