Help support your pal’s digestive health with the Dr. Mercola Digestive Enzymes Dog & Cat Supplement. As cats and dogs age, their tummies make less of the digestive enzymes they need for healthy digestion and to absorb nutrients from food. This formula has specially-selected enzymes to support your pal’s digestion and unlock essential nutrients from meals, including betaine HCL, bromelain from natural pineapples, and papain from papayas. Plus, it includes pancreatin, an animal-based enzyme that has protease, amylase, and lipase―essential enzymes that help digest fats, protein, and starches. These natural enzymes have also been shown to support healthy blood circulation, cell growth and normal weight, as well as energy and a healthy immune system.

Hope for digestive issues
By Missginny on Nov 25, 2020
I live in a mobile home park where there are several abandoned and stray cats, not to mention my own dogs and cats. Being on a fixed income it is hard to purchase the best food to feed so many. Dr. Mercola's Digestive Enzymes gives me the opportunity to up the nutritional level for everyone, dogs, and cats alike. After one jar of the Digestive Enzymes, I'm beginning to see some positive effects.

Tear stains
By Angie on Nov 8, 2020
I didn’t expect the digestive enzymes to eliminate my yorkies tear stains/eye boogers but she hasn’t had any since using a scoop in her food once a day or every other day if I forget. It’s really helped her coat and teeth. I think it saves a lot of money at the vet:

Used while transitioning to a raw food diet
By Dani on Jun 5, 2020
My puppy had been on kibble the whole first year of his life. I bought this to help his digestion while doing a cold turkey switch to a raw food diet. It's tough to say if my dog would have transitioned easily anyways without this, but what we did notice while using this was there was very little if any digestional upset during the transition while giving him this with his raw meals. We continue to use it even after he's been on his new diet for more than two months and we like it.

Helped my dog 100%
By Kevin on Apr 9, 2020
I rescued a German Shepherd with EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) - when I got her, she was 4 years old and only 22.8#. She was eating up to 6 cups of food per day, but not absorbing the nutrients, and monster poops. With this Dr Mercola Enzyme Powder, she was up to 33# in 3 weeks, and 58# within another 6 weeks! (And while eating only 3 cups food total per day) She is thriving now! I am mixing Blue Buffalo with a little water, mix to start breaking down the food, and then 1 scoop of powder per cup of food, let sit ~10 minutes and serve.

Would Not Eat
By PamH on Feb 26, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor
I so wanted to add this to my dogs diet. However, neither of my dogs will eat. I’ll look for another enzyme product that’ll perhaps be more enticing to them.

Specific Instructions for using with cats
By Tootsweet on Nov 8, 2019
Important - how to use on cats. I found a holistic treatment for cats that worked very well. You must mix the dose with a little water, then give to the cat in a syringe. You must then wait 30 minutes before feeding. This gives time for the enzymes to work. If you let the cats eat before 30 minutes, the enzymes will "eat" the food instead. Do this for 8 days, rest 7 days and then repeat 8 days. From a holistic French Canadian Vet - I cannot remember her name. Works incredibly well! My kittens had no more bowel problems and that was 3 years ago. They ate 3 times a day so they were dosed 3 times a day. Hope this helps.

Seems to be working
By Dragonfry on Dec 6, 2019
My dogs ate this without even noticing it and for my male it does seem to be improving his loose stools. They are now firm and much less smelly.
