Description

Help support your pal’s digestive health with the Dr. Mercola Digestive Enzymes Dog & Cat Supplement. As cats and dogs age, their tummies make less of the digestive enzymes they need for healthy digestion and to absorb nutrients from food. This formula has specially-selected enzymes to support your pal’s digestion and unlock essential nutrients from meals, including betaine HCL, bromelain from natural pineapples, and papain from papayas. Plus, it includes pancreatin, an animal-based enzyme that has protease, amylase, and lipase―essential enzymes that help digest fats, protein, and starches. These natural enzymes have also been shown to support healthy blood circulation, cell growth and normal weight, as well as energy and a healthy immune system.

Solved loose stool and noisy tummy

    By on

Our young beagle/lab mix had perpetual loose stool, frequent vomiting, and her tummy made loud gurgling noises. Home remedies like pineapple and pumpkin did not help. Vet put her on a (very expensive) prescription diet that did not help. I did research and learned a lack of certain enzymes can cause those issues. This supplement has ALL of the enzymes recommended, not just some. The Dr. Mercola digestive enzymes ended her stomach issues within days. She has normal stools, rarely vomits, and her stomach doesn't make noise anymore. This is our third jar...feeding twice a day each jar lasts about five months.

    Yup, it works!

First, I trust Dr. Mercola. Second, as pets age, they don’t digest their food as well. I know this. BUT....when it comes to my own pets, I forget. So my vet reminded me that my 12-year-old-still-a-puppy pug/terrier mix could benefit from a digestive enzyme. I’d been having trouble putting/keeping weight on him and he was becoming frantic about wanting to eat poop in the yard. His behavior calmed down almost immediately. He’s still interested in eating poop, but not desperately so. His weight is good. We’ll see if his bloodwork shows normal levels for a pancreatic enzyme at his next check-up.

    Reluctant to eat....

    By on

My Shiz Tzu is more smarter than average person. Mr. Kane ( dog) can detected everything. I put enzymes on food and mixed it up. With his talented tongue, knows how to separate the food and the product in his bowl. I come back theres white stuff on the side. Like a kid, have to trick him to eat his food with giving a treat.

    Mine doesn't smell like chemicals

    By on

Eating a nutrition rich food, my dogs were still having loose stools after trying all kinds of remedies. Last resort was, maybe they just don't have the gut to digest it! Bought these enzymes, and if anything they smell like the garbage when it starts to break down. The product I receive never smells like chemicals and I am on #3. My dogs aren't bothered by it at all, and the very first feeding.... All tummy issues resolved and they are loosing that grain fat and developing nice and sleek!

Great product and the dogs like it too.

Knowing that a dog's diet, however wholesome we try to make it may not necessarily be complete. This is a welcomed supplement to both of our dog's daily diet. With giving our dogs a dose of Dr. Mercola's probiotics, they should also receive these digestive enzymes too.

    Smells like home perm solution

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

Neither my cat nor my dog will eat food if this is in it. They'll avoid it like the plague. When I ordered it after reading everyone else's reviews that complained that it smells like chemicals... they downplay how how unbelievably bad that is. I thought, how bad can it be? It's bad. It's on the level of home perm solution smell which, if you've never had one, is a seriously toxic smell. I feel bad just having put it in their food.

    Smelly but good

    By on

Our puppy, despite eating premium food and probiotics, still had loose stools and GI issues (gas, gurgling, etc.). After a week on these enzymes, she's perfect. We're coming up on a month of use now, and her poop is still perfect. I will be ordering this again. Our cat, despite eating everything put in front of him, won't touch it. I've tried to disguise the enzymes with various other smelly stuff, but no luck.

My dog did not like this in his food and I saw no difference in him while on this, so I would not purchase again.
