    Made my dogs lethargic

    By on

I gave this to 2 of my dogs and one was very lethargic and wasnt herself. I had her on it for 3 days. Once I took her off she was back to her normal self again. I will never give her this ever again. My other dog started drooling on this product, so both of them are totally off and are back to their selves again. I wasted my money. My dogs got worse not better.

    Gave my dog the runs...

    By on

I bought this bcs I read from several sources that Turkey Tail compound is very good for dog immunity, especially for those who have or had Mast Cell tumors like my dog previous had. But Adding this to her food only gave her the runs. At first I was giving her this in combination with Dr. Mercola's spirulina tablets (one in the morning and one at night) and I was afraid it might be too much for her. So I removed both from her diet for a week and then slowly introduced each one for a week (with a week of neither in between). The final deduction was that this was the culprit of the runny bottom. Supplement for Senior Cats

    By on

I wanted a supplement/vitamin to give to my 2 senior cats (11 yrs and 12yrs) to help them with immune function and energy. One is very picky, but I have not had trouble getting either of them to eat this mixed in with canned food. I've been giving it to them about a week now. No change in their energy level yet, but I do like the product and will update my review if I notice anything different later.

    Mushrooms are excellent

    By on

After my two dogs having mast cell tumors & two surgeries for removal I decided to do further research on how I may help them. One of them was incorporating mushrooms in their diet. NOT just any mushrooms , let me emphasize that because some are toxic to dogs but the ones listed in these ingredients are so beneficial. I even had a hollistic Vet recommend this product before I even asked her about it. On a side note, I would mix it with something wet or with something else along with their kibble if that’s what you feed them. Dogs can be finicky & you don’t want to miss out on these benefits. Amazing product

My dog had TPLO surgery in August. A part of the pre-surgery process involves X-Rays, bloodwork and an abdominal ultrasound to be sure your dog is healthy to undergo the procedure. Our surgeon found that Ellie’s left adrenal gland was slightly enlarged, most likely due to an “early nodular process”. He recommended we come in for another ultrasound in a few months to keep an eye on it and see if it continues to grow. I researched abnormal growths and tumors in dogs, and ways I could help prevent this early nodular process from becoming a more serious problem. I started Ellie on this product 4 months ago and have been giving her the recommended dose every day since then. We just got back from her re-check today. The doctor told us it hasn’t grown, but has actually shrunk! He said he’s confident it’s nothing to be concerned about (unless she starts to show symptoms) and that we no longer have to come in for any more re-checks as he says it now looks normal. I can’t help but wonder if this supplement helped. From other reviews I’ve read, I think it definitely played a major role in the shrinking of the growth, and I will continue to give her this product the rest of her life! Thanks so much! … more

My Integrative Vet Dr. Royal disagrees

    By on

Dr. royal and Dr. mercola are friends , she disagrees with this formulation. She recommends five defenders mushroom complex. I have been using the five defenders and my dog with a terminal bladder tumor is thriving a year later after diagnosis. There’s more things she has to take obviously , podoxime,,CBD OIL, Yunnan Baiyao

Dog loves it- hoping it helps with cancer

    By on

Started my dog on this after diagnosis of osteosarcoma and leg amputation. Was told in a support group for owners of dogs with bone cancer that mushroom complex can help slow the progression of cancer (specifically turkey tail). Hoping it will help, although there's really no way of knowing!
