Surprising hit
My 13 year old mixed breed rescue had suddenly stopped eating his dry kibble. After reading about the benefits of salmon and dogs diet I wanted to try it. Was a little hesitant to try this product seeing some of the comments about the smell. As soon as I open the bag, both of my dogs eagerly ate it and have been enjoying it since. Definitely going to be a auto ship.
My Chocolate Lab no more itchy skin or paws
Our Lab Hunter is 4 years old and has suffered with constant itcy skin, chewing paws, ear infections. We tried every brand out there..even the very exspensive ones..Thank you Dr. Poll, Finally he has relief..I noticed a difference within a week..no more itching, or chewing paws..no more ear problems. He has been on it for 4 months and no problems! I just put our younger lab pup on it also..she loves it! Thank! Thank!
great value for quality product
Took a minute for our dog to adjust to the food but has now done so within about 2 weeks of the switch. This food has quality ingredients and a good price and size for the bag compared to local dog stores self nutrition brands I would highly recommend this product if your looking for good high quality dry dog food.
My pugs taste
I tried this due to it being cheaper than my normal brand. Unfortunately, my pugs didn't care for it. They eventually ate it due to no other options & the fact that they've become picky eaters. The limited ingredients were perfect for what I needed, NO CHICKEN anything. I would recommend starting out with this product but not switching, unless it's an upgrade from your current kibble or if you don't have picky eaters.
Wish He'd Eat It!
The taste and smell is going to take some getting use to. He doesn't seem to be a fan, but the ingredients are so good for him. This poor dog is allergic to the world. Just when I think I finally stumbled upon a food source that will actually help his allergies, I can't get him to eat it. He hates the taste! Im going to try mixing this up with canned salmon. Hopefully, we can entice him to start liking it. We'll see.
You should buy it!
My picky dog with allergies love this food! Yes it has a fishy smell but that's how you know it's made with real fish! I hope they never get rid of this food!
My dogs eat this too
If you've read other of my reviews, this one is the same. My dogs eat it, I try to find the cheapest salmon and grain-free diet for my dogs, every time I reorder, doesn't mean I'll order this every time, but what matters is that my dogs do eat it.

This has solved a gas problem with our French Bulldogs. The smell is intense, but they eat it.

I have finally found a GREAT dog food. My pets have allergies and I was spending a fortune for Apoquel. One month after feeding my dogs Dr Pol, their allergies are gone. No more Apoquel and they are so much better off. My previous pet had allergies so bad he was getting shots just like we do. Wish this food had been around then.
