Description

Chase was developed with the understanding that the feline is a true carnivore. Based on what cats would eat in the wild, Dr. Tim’s formula contains increased levels of highly digestible proteins and fats while maintaining a low carbohydrate level, and the proper amounts of magnesium and muscle protein promote acidic urine for optimal urinary health. Externally applied probiotics and integrated prebiotics support gastrointestinal health. Also, unique fiber inclusions aid hairball prevention and improve digestion. Very palatable and nutritious, Chase is the food meant to welcome a cat’s return to the feeding program nature intended.

Key Benefits

  • High protein, low carbohydrate formula with L-carnitine added to promote the ideal lean body weight
  • Unique fiber combination may aid with immunity and can limit hairball production.
  • Omega 3 fatty acids help with inflammation, immune and brain function, heart health and shedding
  • Natural antioxidants selenium and vitamins C and E remove free radicals
  • Low ash meat proteins, low magnesium levels and methionine can help maintain an acidic urine for urinary health.

  • My cats love this food!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

My dog eats Dr. Tim's dog food and the cats were always eating his food. So, I decided to try a bag of cat food. My cats are pretty picky, so I didn't have very high expectations. I was amazed! All three cats LOVE this food. Besides the cats liking the food, I like it because it is low in carbs and high in protein. All three of them have seemed to have been playing more, so I do think that it gives them more energy. I also have had to clean up less hairballs, lately. This is my first bag, but I am impressed!

  • So far so good.

After the dry cat food company that I had been buying added tuna to the mix I noticed my cats were vomiting. So I had heard about Dr. Tims. I read about it and thought I'd give it a try. Seems like all 5 of my cats like it and it isn't upsetting their stomachs.

  • Cat with Allergies

    By on

My cat had licked half his fur off, the vet told me it was likely food allergies, and was probably the protein in his food. After switching to every type of single meat possible with no help, I decided to try to find a food without peas because every single food he had eaten had peas in it. Sure enough, his hair is growing back and he seems very happy thanks to this food.

  • excellent meat based dry cat food

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I really am pleased with Dr. Tim's dry cat food. I try to feed as much canned as possible, but need some dry due to having picky babies that like dry best and having nine cats makes canned expensive. Dr. Tim's is excellent, the cats love and the price is nice. I like Orijen best but cannot always afford, now I use Dr. Tim's as backup.

My cat is older and sometimes picky, but she went right for this food and had no issues changing her main staple.

  • My cat loves it

My 13 year old cat started throwing up his dry CD food. We spent big bucks when he threw up for 3 days straight, told it was all sorts of things from pancreatitis to hyperthyroidism to abnormal heart. After much researching and trial and error we narrowed it to eating to fast. I still feed him the soft version of cd and supplement the Dr. Tim's hard at lunch. He truly loves it and he has not thrown up once and hasn't had a hairball since. We wanted something that he could eat when we have to leave for a day or two and soft food just can't be left out. The stress of boarding was not an option. I like that the first ingredient is chicken. The cd seafoods first ingredient was pork by products. • Great puppy/dog food!

I love this dog food because my pup Tobias "a rottweiler" does. His coat looks so shiny and beautiful. My cats even steal the food from his bowl.

  • My cats are becoming healthier!

    By on

I have four 4yr old cats that have been raised on a high-quality hairball formula cat food, and they were beginning to gain too much weight. I noticed that corn was a major ingredient. After trying several other cat foods that were lower in calories without success, I found Dr. Tim's Chase and they love it. The ingredients are terrific, very healthy, low glycemic, high protein, and they are now back to a weight that our veterinarian is very happy with. My husband and I have always kept the cat food in our kitchen pantry, but we have to hide Dr. Tim's in another closet.
