Premium All-Natural Pet Foods and Treats

Foods Made to Match Your Pet

When shopping for Dr. Tim's pet foods, you'll notice the labeling indicates an activity level. That's because they're made to complement your pet's lifestyle, with ideal ratios of protein, fat, carbohydrates and fibers to help her thrive. You'll find recipes that are specially formulated for active pets, low-key pets, extreme athletes and those in need of weight management.

Active

ACTIVE: This food is designed for the sporting dog that's active more days than not—dogs who hunt or jog every day, herding dogs, police dogs and the like. It's made for maximum digestion, an important consideration for these dogs that's often overlooked. Protein types and levels, fat types and levels, and fiber sources are formulated to maximize performance and recovery.

Casual Lifestyle

CASUAL LIFESTYLE: This is a diet intended for the dog who lives a normal lifestyle—sleeping on the couch, running around the backyard or going on car rides, walks or hikes and basically just living the good life. The only regular exercise she might get is tail wagging when she sees you at the end of the day, or some loving nose nudges.

Extreme Athletes

EXTREME ATHLETES: This food is for dogs who are serious about working nearly every day for long periods of time, such as sled dogs and dogs who hunt most days of the season. It's extremely high in fat, high in protein and low in carbs, with the highest levels of essential omega-3 fatty acids and loads of antioxidants. Performance, endurance and recovery are all enhanced.

Weight Management

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT: This diet is intended for the dog who has put on some extra weight. High protein allows your overweight dog to be more active, and moderate fat allows her to feel satiated so she doesn't beg—an essential part of the equation. The omega-3 and antioxidant profiles help reduce the inflammatory stress that's prevalent in an overweight dog, too.

It's perfect for use as a food topper to encourage pets to eat and enjoy their meals, which makes it a great choice for finicky dogs or those who are ill or tired of the same formula.

    Saw Immediate results

By Jules on Dec 2, 2020

Our 15 month old Pit tore his cruciate ligament & also had luxating patella. The vet said to try this product until surgery could be done. Otis hardly exhibited any signs of being in pain, just wouldn’t bear weight on leg & would quickly sit down. He kept to himself. Within 2 days of taking these chews, he was moving better, more cheerful disposition, more like the puppy he had been before his injury. 2 weeks post surgery the vet was amazed at his progress. Chews are easy to administer-eats them like it’s a treat.

    For dog joint health

By Anne on Jan 5, 2021

My 5 year-old German Shepard/Lab mix has been on joint support supplements since she was 9 months old. It was recommended by my vet to prevent hip problems later on. I saved $20 a bottle being on-line and it is the very same stuff.

    TRP-Tri-COX shipped w/expired expiration date....

By OldSchoolCowboy on Nov 5, 2020

Our recent order of TRP-Tri-COX medication for our dog's joints was received in Oct of 2020 with an expiration date of 07/2020 on the container. It was a lighter paler color than previous orders of this same product, and dry and crumblier than past product received from CHEWY. One of our dogs who previously swallowed this product in the past, just sniffed it and backed away. Now we must hold the bowl for him and encourage him to eat the dog food with this stale product mixed in. Never had to do that before.

    Great stuff

By CincoChien on Oct 4, 2020

Our 2 year out pit bull started limping and was diagnosed with torn ACL and would need surgery. The tear was not severe and trp-tri Cox was prescribed in office. Lifesaver! Two chews daily with food and she is (almost) like new! She no longer baby’s the leg after a long day playing. We do try and minimize her insane racing around but she can play and walk normally. She does occasionally show some soreness in the leg after a high activity day but daily doses return her to her able state. It has been over a year and surgery is not a daily paranoia. Someday maybe but we will continue to give her dr Tim’s along with regular vet visits until something changes this course. Production date on bottle, not expiration date

By DrTim on Nov 19, 2020

Hello Oldschoolcowboy. Appreciate your insight but wanted to explain the date on the Tricox is the production date, not the expiration date. We are trying to get this changed at the manufacturer so there is less confusion. Dr Tim

    Brand seems ok

By Maria on Oct 19, 2020

Had to switch to Dr Tim's because I couldn't find the other brand I was using. Seems like the same product. My dog (black labrador) continues to eat the treats no problem. No digestive issues. The nuggets are moist instead of dried out, which is a problem I have with other supplements I give my dog. So this product seems fine. Expensive though.

    Fantastic product

By Patcharoo on Nov 9, 2020

Our 3 year old shepherd has horrible hips already and has done remarkably well on this product. It’s nice to have something to offer being that she’s so young, rather than having to start an NSAID until absolutely necessary.

    Great Stuff.

By Alexis on May 10, 2020

We have a 3 year old Bernese Mountain Dog and a year old English Setter. Two entirely different energy levels. Originally, I had bought these for our Setter to help protect his young joints. Our Berner mostly lays around and sleeps but has her “sprint” every evening. You’d think that the two plush dog beds we have for her would be her thing, but nope! She loves to sleep on the hardwoods. Recently we had noticed that she wasn’t as excited to run around in the evenings and since she’s a breed that is prone to joint problems, we decided to start her on the supplements as well. Now, two months into taking them, she still sleeps on the hardwoods, but is back to playing with the Setter rigorously. We have a 3 year old Bernese Mountain Dog and a year old English Setter.
