    If you're on the fence about getting a Dremel, just do it. This bad boy is amazing. I clip my dogs' nails weekly, which used to be something they would tolerate, but definitely not look forward to. The Dremel takes the pressure off of their nails when I grind them, which makes them more comfortable and If you're on the fence about getting a Dremel, just do it. This bad boy is amazing. The Dremel takes the pressure off of their nails when I grind them, which makes them more comfortable and content. They actually fall asleep when I use this! There is a buzz, but it's not loud and shouldn't be a problem if you properly desensitize your dog to the new sound/feeling. The charge always lasts long enough for me to get through both dogs - haven't tried it on more than two, but I would imagine it would last for a couple more dogs. All in all, the Dremel is quick, effective, and easy - rather than trimming and filing, you hit two birds with one stone. … more

    What is the point?

    My dogs hate getting their nails trimmed. One will let me do it but the other one requires a muzzle and then squirms so much that I end up taking him to the vet or the groomer. I thought this might solve the problem but it is really worse that just trying to clip the nails. It makes a noise and the My dogs hate getting their nails trimmed. It makes a noise and the directions say that you have to condition the dog so in the end, still not able to do the nails at home. The other thing is the directions say do not apply to the nail for longer than 3 seconds at a time, which I get, the thing gets hot. It may work for somebody but it doesn't work for me. … more
