What’s the noise level on Drexel?

Our pet parents have commented that this grooming kit is very quiet.
Can you tell me if the clear guard has an opening on the side as well as the top? It seems like it would be awkward to hold the nail at the top end because of the direction the tip spins. The grinders I have now have an opening on the side of the guard, but they're weak. Thanks.

Dremel 7760-PGK 3.6V Pet Grooming Cordless Kit gives off a vibrating / humming noise.
Does this have an led light and can you use it without guard?

This grooming tool does not feature a light, but the nail guard is removeable.

Great Nail Grinder

I've had this for 5 months now, and this is one of the best nail grinders I've used for my dogs, it takes you a little bit to kind of learn the right angles to use to file the nail smoothly as sometimes it will skip if you try to just do it straight with the nail. I use this after cutting and in between to maintain short nails and it's much faster than hand filing and provides a smoother result as well without causing any splitting. The battery lasts a long time and it's very quiet, my dogs aren't bothered by the noise at all. I like that there's various speeds in case I ever wanted to use the Dremel for something else, I always file their nails at the lowest speed and it's pretty fast, I don't see why you would go any higher. I also do not use the plastic nail guard, I feel it would get in the way and not offer as much freedom to get certain angles and even possibly cause a dog's nail to get stuck in it. I've hit my own finger with it while filing their nails and it didn't really hurt or break skin which is good in case someone did accidentally slip while filing their dog's nails. Overall I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it as the first choice to people looking for a nail grinder.

Poor quality attachments

The product itself is very nice and works well. The attachments not so much. They look to be 3D printed with very low quality plastic. Within minutes of changing the attachments, they began so show signs of stress. They will no doubt be broken soon. Definitley look for 3rd party attachments if you’re buying this

Great!

If you can start your dog young, or get them used to this it’s the best. I’ve had a couple versions of dremel tools for dog nails but this is best yet. Love the shield and guard for grinding, it’s not super loud too!

Work Great

I have 2 German Shepherds. My previous grinder was loud and burned through batteries in just over 1 month. This grinder is much quieter. Have been using this for 3 weeks and still have not had to recharge. Best of all able to grind both dogs nails in about half the time it used to take. Only thing I don't like is the plastic sleeve around the grinding shaft is cheap and fear it will break easily.
