Best small thistle feeder on the market! Easy to fill too!
Order had arrived on time. The finch feeder works well.
This photo is not the one I got but similar. Anyway, I reordered from my order history and they have improved the product. The stands are metal (old were plastic) and the tube itself seems sturdier. My only complaint is that my birds have not returned. I took down the feeders in compliance with Audubon recommendations to stop the spread of the bird illness (forget what it was) but since I have two new, clean feeders and fresh water not a single bird has returned!
I have a slew of birds visiting my feeders, including finches. I decided to pick this up, figuring it’d be nice addition, and it is quality, but for days and days I had finches visit, then leave it for a different tube feeder. I’ve had to refill four feeders, but the seed in this one just never goes down. The problem? The ports are too tiny. Even though I filled it with a quality finch seed, I couldn’t shake a singe teeny tiny seed out of any feeder port. I highly recommend grabbing a Dremel tool or a drill with a small bit and widening the holes. Five minutes, and it’s working as it should.
