No birds yet but right now it is adhering to the window very well and I am interested in seeing how it holds with the weight of birds on it.
This is my second Window Feeder. It is quite sturdy and even supports the occasional squirrel. It's best for smaller birds, but the Blue Jays and Cardinals stop by often too. My first one held up for three years through all four seasons.
I was a little concerned that the suction cups would not hold but the feeder has stayed up even with temperatures below 0 and 4-5 cowbirds on the feeder at a time. It took about a week for the birds to find it (or maybe just to get brave enough to eat next to a window) but now they use it as long as I keep it full. So far mainly cowbirds and Chickadees, but I am hoping as the cowbirds move on more songbirds will move in.
I love my feeder-- I hung it on my storm door (there is an overhang that keeps the food dry) during the cold and it has stayed in place very well. The birds that come to the feeder are not interest in Basic Blend Food so I have put Black Oil Sunflower seeds in the feeder - hopefully in the spring more birds interested in the Basic Blend will show up. I plan on purchasing another feeder for an additional window
