Droll Yankees Omni Bird Seed Tray, 10.5-in

...so perhaps that is a mistake in the description...or droll yankees changed their design? other than that, it looked well-made and sturdy, and would certainly help catch seed/shells dropped by the sloppy little visitors. :)

For the summer months I like to keep my feeders up but the mess from the dropped seeds and shells was a problem. I already had a Droll Yankee feeder and the seed tray has been a huge success! Highly recommend.

It would be great if birds gently approached a feeder and ate with their best table manners. Unfortunately, they jockey for position and throw the food they don't want creating quite a mess. Even with a collecting tray the ground will be covered with seed but at least some of the seed gets a second chance. This tray is very durable and collects dropped food pretty well. It fits my Droll Yankee Classic feeders snugly. You can use the enclosed plastic bolt or attach it using their plastic hook screw (sold separately...). With the hook you can piggyback a second feeder below your main feeder; it works really well if you have two types of feeder or if your bird population expands in number. I find that ground feeding birds often eat the seed caught in this tray. The edge is good for perching and accommodates two or three medium sized doves. Although the tray has drain holes I find a dome above the feeder is truly needed to prevent your seed from getting drenched. Overall, I'm very happy with the Omni Seed Tray. Ordered this with a different tube feeder sold on this site to discover it only works with Droll Yankees feeders, and chewy carries very few of these, most of which cost over $100. Should be much more clear that this product can’t be used with most tube style feeders, and maybe carry a few moderate priced feeders from the company this was intended for. The object itself looks like it would work well, but I will never know.

I added this tray to my feeder to keep the seeds from falling on the ground where my dogs eat them. So far it has done the job ! It was easy to install and keeps the ground underneath clean.

I needed to replace my broken bird feeder tray. I found an inexpensive replacement tray on Chewy.com that I easily added to my regular autoship with no extra shipping! It looks to be an OEM replacement.

You have everything and more. Squirrel broke my tray. I had no idea you carried these. The more I look around your site the more I find that I use and have been ordering elsewhere. Your prices are better, you get it here faster. YOU ROCK!

You need to offer a bird feeder that will work/match-up with your bird seed tray as pictured in your ad for your bird seed tray. I had to find a plug to hold tray to my bird feeder because the plug you supplied did not fit. This is why I ask that you offer both items.

We have dozens of Droll Yankee and similar tube feeders. We put these Omni trays or the smaller A-6 seed tray on most of them. These are just the right size for Cardinals, Finches and Mourning Doves to sit in to feed. Catches almost all of the seed. Drains well when raining. Holds up to sun, wind, snow and rain for years. Doesn't yellow. Will crack outwards from the center hole eventually, if squirrels or larger birds land on it often, as it flexes slightly when they do. Could be designed better around the hole. Easy to attach and clean. Will buy again.
