    Crash landing

    By on

This feeder pops up when you search for cardinal platform feeders. It looked like a great plan online -- not so much in person. The space between the dome and the perch is not high enough for cardinals to comfortably land. It's fine for smaller birds but I already have a half dozen feeders for them. Disappointed.

    This was a disappointing buy

    By on

I wanted a bird feeder to hang outside of my window where I have my cat tower, so my cats could have something interesting to look at outside. This looked perfect and I was so excited to use it. The only problem is that the roof on top is put in such a way that only really small birds can fit inside. So I think in the month or 2 I've had this up I've only seen the same 3 or 4 small birds in it. Over all I was kind of disappointed because I spent 33 dollars on a small piece of plastic. It has held up though, and a couple small birds have visited, so that's why it got 2 stars instead of 1. Not a very good value for the money, wish it was bigger so all different birds could use it.

Terrible to small of a opening

    By on

Space between dome and food holder is way to small for any size bird bigger then a finch to get into. I going to return it if I can. Sorry I purchased it waste of money

Small birds love it, big birds are frustrated!

    By on

This is our second feeder like this. After many years of use and high winds, our original blew off for the last time and was damaged beyond repair. Knowing it was a winner, we ordered the same model. The feeder is adjustable so small birds have access yet large nuisance birds like starlings and grackles are keept out. The dome keeps out much of the rain/snow but there are also drain holes should water get in. The feeder can be used for a variety of foods to keep your birds coming back.

    Not worth the money

    By on

I thought this would be a great feeder but it turned out to be the worse one I've ever bought. The bird seed got wet even with the dome and the birds didn't fit under the dome to feed. I finally threw it in the garbage.

    Perfect Feeder

    By on

This feeder was the perfect feeder I needed 2 feed my peacock. He loves it. Much better than the 1 I made, but same concept. Wish I had found it sooner. Love having Chewy.co ship it 2 me, but, wish FedEx would deliver on the day expected.

    Only works for finches.

    By on

I bought this hoping my cardinals would be able to fit in it. I have been having a hard time finding the right feeder for them and was sure this would be it. Even adjusted at the highest setting, they still cant figure out how to get into it. They just try to land on the dome and slide off sadly. :( Also, the dome doesn't keep the rain completely out, the seed still gets wet. This feeder doesn't have much weight to it, and blows around in the wind a lot. I think it is great for finches, but definitely not anything larger. Perhaps if it adjusted up another inch or so!

In a recent windy day this super lite bird plastic feeder blew off it's rope & broke the metal rod. Trash it.
