My cat is one of those who absolutely refuses to take medicine of any kind in any way, shape, or form. I've tried crushing pills and putting liquid in food, hiding it in treats and pill pockets. I was at wit's end when I ran across the Duralactin L-lysine supplement in paste form. Because she loves to be fed chicken and tuna by hand, I was able to trick her into thinking the Duralactin paste I put on my finger was a treat, too. It must taste rather good, too, because she licks it right off without hesitation. I am thrilled to have found this and wish there were other medications just like it! … more

My cat absolutely LOVES this stuff! Problem is that it is so pricey and the container runs out very quickly. I swear he would joyfully lap up this whole tube in one sitting if I let him.

I have an FIV positive cat; fortunately so far he only shows some skin problems. The Lysine has really helped. I am very pleased!

Date is not Expiration
By Lysine on Apr 3, 2022
I see a lot of people on here saying that there stuff is expired! If you look it says DOM. It mean Date Of Manufacturing! It’s not an expiration date! If it says 06/2021 it’s just when it was made. So don’t waste your money and throw it away. It is still good!!! :)

My cat loves it!
By DelaDoc on Mar 29, 2022
I highly recommend this if your cat is as fussy as mine- not only does he love the paste, he has significantly fewer upper respiratory issues so no more monthly vet visits. And for those people complaining about the expiration date, DOM means date of manufacturing, NOT expiration date

SHE CAN BREATHE!!
By KITTY on Feb 4, 2022
Our kitten couldn’t breathe through her nose when we got her. She was sneezing, coughing and her eyes were watery. We tried this, and it really seemed to help! A week after we ran out of this, her eye started watering and she started sneezing again. I think we need to buy more Maybe five more—
